OT: Garoppolo headed to Las Vegas

At least that’d be interesting.

It is fodder for sports talk radio. I don't think it is a wise move. Garoppolo is a potential good stopgap until you draft the next guy, but if Garoppolo is healthy, you are never going to draft low enough in the draft to draft the next guy. And if he is constantly injured, you might as well kept Jones. The only way it would make sense was if the Vegas was somehow willing to trade the 7th pick in the draft. And that wasn't happening.

He'll have the best WR he's ever had in his career, bar none.
He's bringing Deebo Samuel from SF to LV?

I kid, I kid... but let's not make it sound like he had no legit targets in SF. Heck, I'd take Adams over Samuel, but I would take Samuel + Kittle over Adams + Any other Raider.

Good for him. I can root for the Raiders now when they come to town.

I'm taking Devante Adams over Deebo.
I clarified that my comment wasn't meant to be taken 100% seriously, though I also clarified that we shouldn't act as if Garoppolo is throwing to the Patriots' horrible corps of WRs/TEs.....

good deal for vegas. Gotta make sure you have a capable backup though

Justin Herbert and the Chargers are overrated.

I think Sean Payton and Wilson can steal games from them as well. SP just needs a RB and his Offense can be productive enough to win close games. I could see them winning at least 2 of their division games. It wouldn't surprise me.

For sure, eckler Is requesting a trade, I'm sure Damian Harris has his eyes on this opportunity.. I believe Wilson was more injured than we knew last season..

Is this a Carmen Elektra / Dennis Rodman on court type of question?
Lol no .. gotta hand it to IR Jimmy though.. no all pros, no MVPs, no superbowl wins.. he's had what 2,3 contracts? Has there ever been a QB that's made more money for NOT playing?

I read somewhere that Payton isn't high on Wilson and this is a make or break year for Wilson. The word is if Wilson doesn't make a huge improvement this year, the Broncos will cut him next year.

The walking injury will be out by week 4
Eh... Maybe he will be better off leaving that quarter back injury factory in Santa Clara...

probably not, but maybe?

Kansas City is winning the AFC West. By 3 games at least. McDaniels and Staley are idiots. Even if Garoppolo stays heathy that team isn't winning more than 10 games. I like Sean Payton but Russell Wilson fell off a cliff last season, and he's turned into a headcase, so I'm not sure he can get it back together.

Reid starting winning divisions with Alex Smith and now he's coasting to them with Mahomes. It's the easiest division in the NFL to call. Buffalo in the East is second.

I just don't see how this is a step up for Vegas. Let's ignore the fact that Carr is the picture of reliability and Jimmy has played only 1 full season in his entire career.... their stats over the past few years are pretty comparable.

Raiders don't want Carr though. They've made that abundantly clear.

Beauty is in the "Eye of the beholder" and all that.
