Hmmmm….Oft-injured WR with rare size and a history of elite production as a field-stretcher who can find the end zone, who may be willing to take a one year prove-it deal with a low cap number but with plenty game-day active and production bonuses…..

I'm not opposed it won't be the $$$$ he already got that.

Overpaying, overrating, giving up draft picks and throwing money away loses games…
We have thrown anyway many Draft picks let me count I Wynn - Sony Michel - N Harry just to name a few. Would I give a up a First Rounder for a Proven player?? Based on our past Draft History heck Yes!

Not sure if this is serious or not but I get a chuckle out of every short white receiver being compared to Edelman. comparing Bolden to Edelman is like comparing Aaron Dobson to randy moss. They are on a different planet as athletes.
Bill Belichick can turn any white receiver into the greatest slot WR of all-time.

I am sorry that you disagree with indisputable facts.

I see the Rams pairing him with Stafford.

We’re one of the best talent acquisition teams in the league, the 2019 draft doesn’t change that. And the past two very good drafts have erased the bad draft in 2019 entirely.

Look at the tweet Uptown posted a few posts back about the Giants overrating and overpaying Kenny Golladay.

He was a big 4.5 forty possession receiver who had two 1000 yard seasons under his belt as well. He looked great with Matt Stafford in Detroit, in NY with Daniel Jones… not so much.

Let’s improve our passing and total offense, in turn our receiving weapons will improve. Last year the weapons weren’t the problem, coaching was. If you can find a free agent or a great deal in trade that’s one thing, but don’t overpay for just “good.”

What’s wrong with paying a legit LT? It’s one of those positions I’d happily throw fat stacks of cash at for a legit player

We paid Matt Light and Nate Solder pretty well

I understand that part, and would have no problem doing so either... I just don't trust Orlando Brown Jr here with all of that money but without enough strong veteran leadership other than Andrews.

We still cant downplay those bad Drafts which came back to haunt us minus Brady. On Kenny Golladay I will give him the benefit of the doubt Injuries - Joe Judge as HC and Brian Daboll new HC and system. I think we could realistically make an excuse for K Golladay.

Golladay was overrated, they were desperate for WR’s this season and still didn’t play him.

A good free agent the Patriots should sign is the Giants Darius Slayton. He went through the same nonsense Golladay did, was a developing rookie not a vet and produced the entire time.

You wouldn’t have to trade for Slayton, you just pay him. Plus he’s stupid fast and talented.

In think D Slayton would be similar to Meyers here and much cheaper decent player.

My hesitation about O. Brown, though he is a really good tackle, is I think he's a ****. Something about him rubs me the wrong way... Maybe because he was a ratbird? I dunno, no real other reason...

I've said this 100x but the top 15 players in the draft are BETTER than the guy you get at 31.

The 31st player is inevitably as good as the 60th player.

Seymour, Ty Warren, Mayo, these are guys that went high.

Juju is still only 27 and could be had cheaper than someone like Meyers

Michael Thomas would be a legit #1, his production has been elite his entire career. The only drop was the last 2 years because of injury/suspension

When he came back this year from 6 game suspension he immediately became their #1 target and was getting 80-100+ yards a week
juju may be a better choice, using Bourne more in the slot.

The guy who had 21 grabs for 81 yards including playoffs? He aint a third down back
Some of our answers may already be on the roster.. strong projects to be a guy who can possibly fulfill that 3rd down back role.. he showed the ability to make plays on 3rd down some this season... with Damien Harris likely gone in FA he'll have a bigger role.. so we'll see

Slow as molasses and non-elite 3-cone for a slot WR but if BOB feels that he is worth a look after working with him in 2021, I don’t see the downside.

There were a lot people here who wanted the Pats to draft Bolden. Personally, I don't know a heck of a lot about him. But he doesn't have to be fast. He just needs to be quick off the line. Edelman, Welker, Amendola, Branch, etc. were never fast receivers, they were quick receivers.

But anyone signing Bolden will give him a value contract with very little or no guaranteed money. So he is worth a shot and can be easily cut before the season if he doesn't work out. As you say, there really isn't a downside.

WR: Michael Thomas can't believe he'll soon be 30 thought he was older he's been hit injuries bug the last two years. He was awesome with Drews Brees we have some inexpensive options in FA I like him better than the D Hopkins option.
