Kincaid is a silky smooth rr who's still very much learning the position. Practically brand new. He's someone QBhave no problem throwing to. He presents himself as a big target. Reliable hands thay are always open, big catch radius, plus concentration and tracking. He's got some nuance to his routes already and has a great feel. Athletic backgrounds focused on basketball. It shows when he's moving and navigating through bodies. Instincts are there. Real potential to be a playmaker. Long way to go as a blocker but he can handle small stuff off the line. Musgrave doesn't get enough attention imo. Extremely agile, quick feet, easy mover at 6'5 255. He's got potential as an inline blocker with some technique work and add strength. Lots of effort and fight though. Knows how to use tempo and use his stride length. Very nice burst off the line or going into a catch. He's coming off an injury and could present good value to a team looking to develop a 3 down guy. Obviously Mayer is a fine prospect. He'll be TE1 on a lot of boards. In terms of impact I'm not taking him at 14. Value isn't there but he's a fine prospect. He's just not moving the needle enough for you on offense to command a top 15 or 20 pick imo but he's a really good prospect. Especially with guys like Washington, Musgrave on the board. Supply will be there. Schoonmaker is another kid not getting enough love. Big time potential as a blocked. He can get underneath and dig out. Has a little trouble sustaining at times but generally good technique and always plus effort. Plus footwork blocking, getting out of breaks, sideline etc Hes got a lot of potential as well. Washington is everyones favorite and for good reason. Good class with depth.

Not the worst group but it's not exactly traditional. Sanders is right up Bill's alley and I can't put it past him to take him somewhere RD1. Tough kid that when his mental catches up to his physical could be a top 10 LB in this league. Has a little trouble with diagnosing behind the los and has to get stronger but he's a weapon if used right. Can rush from anywhere with a few good moves mainly swim and plus footwork, good hands. He's able to attack vertically and can close off space laterally - los / sideline. Henley has some explosion to his game both vertically and laterally. Sideline to sideline guy and can cover up field/seam. Lots of upside in coverage. Great overall feel for the position. Experience at WR/QB helps but this kid is watching film daily. Can navigate through through traffic. Used as a rusher. Hes a good one. Graham is someone I could see here. Big time attitude, energy and instincts.

Ian,

Yeah the draft is important... but it's hit or miss.. I'm sure we'll have another solid draft, but it's not as interesting to me as say free agency.. because we have an opportunity to get some players to help us win now.. the draft is about building for the future of course.. however we did have a great draft last 2 seasons..
I don't watch college football so the draft is a complete mystery to me. I was going to get more involved last year but I decided against it. I'd rather poke around in my yard.

I agree about Free Agency but it costs more and teams can overspend like the Pats did with Agholor.

As for the last two drafts, this is by round;
1 - Matt Jones, Strange
2 - Barmore, Thornton
3 - Perkins, M Jones
4 - Stevenson, J Jones, Strong, Zappe
5 - McGrone (The Captain might spell that McGroan)
6 - Bledsoe, Sherman, Harris, Roberts, Hines
7 - Mixon, Stueber

I wouldn't call that bad but I wouldn't call it great either. Plus it's too early to judge these guys, especially the offensive players after they spent a full season in Patriciaville, or the Twilight Zone as Scar described one player's mindset.

Spot on brother!!! I don't really follow college football either... Perkins is a mystery to me.. I love barmore the guys a force up front, what scares me is he's injury prone.. he can have a Chris Jones type impact upfront if he can remain healthy.. we can pick up a few depth pieces on th D line in FA as well.. but I'm sure those guys will be available on the last day of the draft...

Marcus Jones to me I've made the case he should be our slot option on offense.. he of course can play defense but to me his value is greater with ball in his hands.. he's such a special talent with speed and ability.. will be interesting to see what BOB decides to do..

I really intended to start paying attention to college and participate in the draft discussions here but it never happened.

Unfortunately injuries are a major part of the NYFL and I can't think of a way to cut back on them.

Yeah, Marcus Jones is as exciting as it gets. He has that special ability to see where the spaces are and then get to them. He reminds me of Jules in that regard.

Trade up for a QB

Yes agree, it confuses me with the draft.. as thier are so many prospects and a very few number of them unfortunately turn out to be longterm NFL players if drafted..

Marcus absolutely, I'm sure he add some more muscle to his frame as he's had an season under his belt, he does remind me of Jules and dion lewis with his breakaway speed.. yeah that's the bad part of the game injury.. it's very disheartening to see how the greats that paved the way for players today all suffered and sacrificed and didn't have guaranteed contracts back then.

FWIW - maybe just recruiting?
