I don't deny the refs suck. Its just hard to believe that the nfl is rigging it for KC.

I don't believe they rigged that in anyone's favor. I believe that they blew the most important play of the game and there's no recourse for it.

There's 20 other NFL officiating crews that may or may not of made that call and that's the problem.

That's a better way to look at it yeah

If the NFL didn't want a crew that threw flags, they shouldn't have named Carl Cheffers to be the head referee of the super bowl. He is known for throwing flags. I knew this heading into the game.

Why the F would I care whether Kansas City wins or loses? I don’t. I don’t hate them or give two shts about them. I hate the Jets and Ravens, I’m completely ambivalent about the Chiefs. Doesn’t make the circumstances any less shady.
Heh, yeah sure buddy. Whatever you say

No this is just being salty. Let's put several things in perspective.

1. The call in question was probably the by the book correct call even if I hated that it was called then and there.

2. Philadelphia gave up a TD on a horrible scoop and score fumble because Hurts made a boneheaded play

3. Philadelphia gave up another TD off a huge run back where their special teams broke down.

4. Philadelphia benefitted from a missed field goal.

5. Philadelphia benefitted from a horrible missed PI

6. There were three crucial razor thin reviews in the game and Philly won 2 of them.

7. Philadelphia's defense completely laid an egg in the second half.

The only thing that call did was ruin what could have been a classic game. But Philly put themselves in that position to lose the game.

I think the Eagles not getting one single stop prior to that flag had more to do with them losing.

Eagles D was vastly overrated. 70+ sacks during the season and they didn't get to a one-legged Mahomes once.

I hate Philly and this one is going to hurt a long time for them. Giants fans are thrilled that they traded Toney to KC just to see him make the play of the game on that punt return.

Both secondary’s played like trash.
Chiefs went offsides twice giving the Eagles fresh downs.
Eagles couldn’t stop basic run plays and KC Couldn’t cover Brown, Smith or Goedert.
Can I ask why did the Eagles stop using Miles Sanders right away did he get hurt?
Watching how bad both Ds played made me feel like neither team was heads and tails better than some other 10 to 12 teams including us.
It makes me that much more upset we sabotaged our incredible defense with Buffoons running the offense.

What about the pathetic call? What about the same call that won the Rams the Superbowl last year?

That did or didn't happen?
It was a poorly judged call, for sure. Call it in a regular season game, not critical moments in the Super Bowl. Regardless the Eagles are at fault for letting it get that close. Fumbling a TD away, allowing the Chiefs to get into the RZ in the final minutes. Stop acting like it’s a complete job, you make a clown of yourself, although maybe not here amidst all the rampant clowns.

They got a stop when it mattered the most.

No one is in denial that the eagles like March down the field and atleast get a FG shot.

So the eagles didn't get screwed cause they didn't have a single stop which is on them but also the ******** penalty is deserved because that's also on them for not stopping any of the previous drives?

Yes. That's talk radio conditioning right there.

So you're find with the eagles not having a chance to win the Superbowl over a poorly called play, all because they didn't already win the game at that point?

Got it.

They got punched in the mouth

I don't get why some people come into a thread like this with the idea that they're gonna make sure we're a better fanbase by reminding us this is something the other 31 fanbases do.

Yeah. We get it. This is also a sport, where you just kinda... Lean into this ****.

Beyond that, it was a stupid ass call that ruined an otherwise really good game. Not the best time to die on the "we're a better fanbase" hill lol.

Yeah, how about we don't have that discussion ;)

Ian. Come on man. This guy isn't even a funny troll he's just annoying.

But I guess he's in my head so jokes on me.

I never like a game ending on a whistle, flag or foul..nevermind a championship game.

With that said, the Eagles Defense no showed when it mattered most. 1 stop in the 2nd half would have likely gotten them then Lombardi and they couldn't.

It is what it is.

Oh Boston fans in general are a terrible fanbase just not the worst one because we aren't usually physically violent so it's at least a politer form of terribleness.

It was a good game. it’s a shame a bad call decided the game and just as many people are gonna talk about that as the Chiefs winning another SB.

For tainted Id have to go with Steelers-Seahawks. This game was one call that one was bad calls all game.

This crying about the Chiefs is exactly what the other fanbases used to say about the Patriots, the guy admitted he held.

I thought it was a ticky tack call but the Eagles had the chance to win and didn't get it done, Mahomes is just too good it's better just to accept the Patriots are irrelevant as long as they have Mahomes and we have Mac Jones, the gap will never be overcome.

It was likely a make up call for the missed holding penalty by the Eagles earlier in the game.
