I am posting the lines now because there has been little to no line movement over the last couple days. So let's do this!

Two weeks of betting after this week. Time to put yourself in a good position for the Super Bowl. There are lots of prop bets available for you which should add to your viewing pleasure. There are 4 Same Game Parlays (SGP) for each game. The Pick1 is back, but this time with only 4 choices. A win pays (+150). 2nd place pays (-200), which is half your bet. 3rd and 4th lose the bet. And there are a lot of individual props for teams and players. Choose wisely.

Please make sure to be aware that any prop bet that is competing against other teams/players MUST be bet before the first game kicks off. This includes: Game w/ lowest points, Game w/ most points, Team w/ most points, Team w/ least points, all Pick1 bets. Individual player props and SGP's can be bet before kickoff of the appropriate game.

I will not be online preceding and during the first Saturday game (KC/Jax). Please make your bets clear to avoid a voided bet. If venecol is live at that time, he speaks for me as always.

Oh shyt, there is always one dumb mistake. It's 100+ rec YARDS and 1+ TD.

Also, it seems like all pick 1 bets should be in even numbered increments. That way you don't have that awkward $500 nastiness if someone finishes 2nd.

I definitely would not have done this in the regular season. For the SB, the 1k increment rule will be waived too.

I considered going with (+150) and (+100). But here is why it would be a catastrophic move for the casino....

All you would have to do is bet all 4 choices at the same amount. Let's say 10k.

1st pays (+150) $15k
2nd pays (+100) $10k
3rd/4th lose 10k each for $20k.

You are guaranteed to win just by betting all 4. Sure, only 5k. But I would bet 100k on all 4 and net 50k. Odds have to be set in a way that if all choices are bet equally, the casino still comes out ahead.

The solution would have been to only allow you to literally pick 1 and 1 only. But these odds are similar to what a casino would offer, and there is no way to restrict someone from placing bets on all 4 in the real world, so I kept it true to that.

As for the (-200) cutting 1k's in half. It's really no different than a (+250), (+450), etc. Anyone sitting on $500 can use it in the SB though.
