Was hoping they’d announce Cam Achord was fired.
He's already at Logan running late like his ST's.

your conclusion is pure speculation by yourself to prove your point

just because the kraft's interfered after this season, doesn't make patricia the worst OC
It means he wasn't up to our standards
But it still leaves the possibility of a worse OC on some other team

Dean Peas wasn’t up to the Patriots’ standards at DC. But when Belichick fired him, the Krafts didn’t send out an email to all season ticket holders saying they were dissatisfied with the season and promising organizational changes nor did the PR department issue a press release that they were interviewing new DC candidates. In fact, I don’t even released that Peas was fired.

Meddling owners are not a good thing. If he doesn't feel confident in BB then he should make a change. Otherwise, let BB run the football operation like he has always done. Kraft started all this stuff by meddling in the Brady/Jimmy G conundrum.
There is a difference between meddling and holding your coach accountable.

You could argue apart from Vinnie Sunseri whose the RB coach and possibly Troy Brown WR/Returners coach, the whole offensive coaching staff could be replaced. So that could mean multiple new staff coming into the team. Have been wondering who they could bring in to fill these roles. Not sure if anyone has any names or possible theories on what could happen there.
I don't see where our WR coach covered himself in glory this past season.

Why do we rarely see Mayo on TV on the sidelines? We see Steve Belichick like 20 times per game.

I think that BB and Mr. Kraft agreed that there would be changes if Bills plan to put Patricia in charge of the offense didn't work out. If BB thought Mr. Kraft was meddling too much, I am sure he would leave. Even the GOAT coach has to be held accountable when certain parts of the team are underperforming. The offensive coaching this season wasn't very good, so changes needed to be made. From what I have read, Mr. Kraft and BB are on the same page regarding the changes.

And its' not by choice.

I understand that as fans this site is for fan input and giving our opinions, but this thread seems to reflect the current trend where there is very little substance or facts and way too much speculation. Soap opera for football.

I came here to see what actually is going on pertaining to this topic and I am wondering if anyone could explain the facts of the current coaching situation?
After sifting through a small number of posts, this is my version (I'm sure I missed some facts):

1) Kraft put out a letter saying they were unsatisfied with the way the season went and changes would be coming

2) BB met with Kraft at the end of the season to discuss the team

3) An announcement went out that a search for an OC is starting and that Mayo will be given a contract to stay with the team

Did I miss any anything?

I feel selfish wanting to keep Mayo Vs seeing him as a HC.
Either way I will always root for him even if he coaches a bitter rival.

I'm so glad they gave this some serious thought I think we have something in Mayo a student of the game and all. I have a very good feeling about him and glad they do too BB successor in two years.

It's ok we want him here anybody who can make Bentley and Tavai look serviceable is alright with me. I hope Mayo has a say in the upcoming Draft.
