Big fan of Reich,
I like what I saw from the Jets O at times with Lafluer.
O’Brien eh anything is Better than Patricia.
Kingsbury would be nice to have some of that air Raid mixed in.
Wes Welker is another name I want to to throw into the the ring as well.
Could we just elevate Hoyer to QB coach?

I like Zac Robinson as well.
Any I’m sure there are a ton of coaches who deserve a shot I am not thinking of.
Not to sound uninformed but what minority offensive coaches should I be liking out for?
I can think of a ton of defensive coaches. But other then Staley I don’t see any who are thought to be in line for a coordinator promotion.

Someone please enlighten me.
All in all, I believe it will end up being o'Brien, he's tenured, he's been with Mac at Alabama and he respected. He is actually a very creative mind! I believe the organization has to put out those press statements so it doesn't appear they are honed in one person. O'Brien makes the most sense as ownership has already expressed thier intentions to stick with Mac.

Yes there are plenty of other names out there, Sean day is another one out there! But all things considered o'Brien is probably the most sensible guy to fix this offense. Once the OC is done then it's time to focus on getting this roster upgraded!

Bill and Kraft met not once but 5 times since Sunday's game. Interesting

My dark horse candidate for OC is Frank Reich. He was the QB coach for Peyton Manning, was the OC for the Eagles when they beat us in the SuperBowl. He would be the perfect OC to fix Mac after Patricia and Judge ruined him.
I like Reich, think he's a good coach, but he wasn't able to fix Wentz and did poorly w/ Ryan. Or maybe some QBs are just what they are.

BTW, the fact the Pats are so public about moving on from Patricia as OC which is out of their character, I think is safe to say that at least the Krafts don’t agree with the assessment by some on this board last week that there a lot of OCs in the league who were worse than Patricia this season.

Editor’s note: Wow! That is one hell of a run on sentence even for me.
your conclusion is pure speculation by yourself to prove your point

just because the kraft's interfered after this season, doesn't make patricia the worst OC
It means he wasn't up to our standards
But it still leaves the possibility of a worse OC on some other team

I feel like this isn’t the offseason to he taking a chance on a first time OC that has no experience calling plays. That would rule out guys like Welker and Robinson (who I’d like a lot better in a lateral move to a position coach role, which he’s apparently allowed to do).

These are the minority coaches I can find who got OC interviews last year. Pep Hamilton was promoted to OC for the Texans but is probably available again. The rest were not hired as OC. I think I got them all updated with their positions this past season, not their positions when they were interviewed a year ago.

Edgar Bennett, Raiders wide receivers coach
Pep Hamilton, Texans offensive coordinator
Scottie Montgomery, Colts running backs coach
Sanjay Lal, Seahawks passing game coordinator/wide receivers coach
Kevin Koger, Chargers tight ends coach
Brian Johnson, Eagles quarterbacks coach
Thomas Brown, Rams tight ends coach/assistant head coach
Cortez Hankton, LSU passing game coordinator
Chris Beatty, Chargers wide receivers coach
Robert Prince, Cowboys wide receivers coach
i would drive to dallas and philly to take the philly qb coach and dallas wr coach
they at least showed they can improve the players they are responsible for

Apart from the fact we are bringing in a new OC, could we see any other movement with position coaches and bringing in new assistant coaches as well? If we did that who would you like to see as possible additions, from college or other teams that we could bring in to help.

I can only think of Bienemy. There are very few minority OCs which is where the complaints come from since that and QB coaches are the easiest path to HC positions.

No, he was by far the worst OC and everyone saw this coming. Total dumpster fire.

Kudos on Kraft for being proactive with this.
Meddling owners are not a good thing. If he doesn't feel confident in BB then he should make a change. Otherwise, let BB run the football operation like he has always done. Kraft started all this stuff by meddling in the Brady/Jimmy G conundrum.

Definitely a PR move with no Prime time games scheduled next year seeing that we missed the Playoffs.

Same but we can’t poach him he is already OC

Good question. On the offensive front, I can see need for new OL and QB coaches. Question is, are those hires made after the OC hire so that the new OC has input in the decision, or can they be made independently and imposed on the new OC?

You could argue apart from Vinnie Sunseri whose the RB coach and possibly Troy Brown WR/Returners coach, the whole offensive coaching staff could be replaced. So that could mean multiple new staff coming into the team. Have been wondering who they could bring in to fill these roles. Not sure if anyone has any names or possible theories on what could happen there.
