The difference between us and them and WE HAD A FRANCHISE QB and kicked him out of town because the arrogant coach thought he could win with anyone.
OK I'll one up you on simplistic takes.

The QB needed to play somewhere else and be bigger than the team.

Back on topic…as I think about it, I wonder if Jack Jones ever plays for NE again either.

If reports are true that BB used him as an example of what NOT to do publicly to the team, I don’t see a young player in 2023 getting over that.

No. The QB needed to play somewhere else and be bigger than the team.
WTF does that even mean? You think the Bucs are upset with Brady having brought them a SB Championship?

Meanwhile this team had no plan whatsoever for how to replace him so they stumbled ass backwards into the disaster that was Cam Newton before drafting mediocre Mac.

No, they kinda really don't. Not in this day and age. Bengals went from being the worst team in football to being conference champs in 2 years. Buccaneers went from 7-9 to SB Champ in 1 season. Rams went from 4-12 to Conference Champs in 2 years.

Furthermore, this is a team heading in the wrong direction with zero indication anything will improve next year.
They really do though. Those are exceptions. Most teams take 5 years (or more) to get back into contention. If they cards break right, they can make it two, sure but for the vast majority of teams it take a lot longer.

Saying BB was arrogant is the same as me saying Tom wanted to be bigger than the team, coach and GM running it. No proof.

The butt-hurt going on 3 years now needs to stop. They weren't winning a SB in 2020 or 2021 with Brady. Get over it. Move on.

Wrong. Brady outlived the plan. Jimmy was the plan. Having a franchise QB at the ready is unrealistic.

So is that what you're happy with? Most teams take more than 5 years to get back into contention, so wake me up in 2027?

Call me crazy, but I don't want to be like "most teams".

Pete Carrol’s team is in the playoffs this year, Bill’s isn’t
I see. If Bill made the playoffs you'd be OK with his non-answers just like you were from 2001, 2003-2007, 2009-2019 and 2021?

What a joke.

You don't have the first clue what would have happened so you can say anything you want. And I can say NE would have won a SB championship somewhere in there.

History strongly support my statement.

That aside, you go on whistling past the graveyard telling us all that everything is being well run in Foxboro. No problems down there!!

Then you don't get rid of the one you have on the roster.

So can you.

LOL.

I didn't but feel free to cast me in that light. Everyone knows what I typed.

What if he didn't want to be here. .....and don't say it was because of $ because it wasn't.

The Pete Carroll comment was intended to be a joke.

Jake the New Fake

JackOff Jones

Bad picks then, Worse picks now.

You’re welcome.

p.s.: Seattle rookie CB Tariq Woolen made the NFC pro bowl as one of the backups… Taken after JackOff too…

Not only that but that tactic could backfire with the other players. Bill just isn't in touch with this younger generation. He's not reaching them. The amount of dysfunction we've witnessed these last two seasons is like nothing we've seen in a long time. There's a clear lack of leadership.

But this isn't a team that changed the HC or GM. The system remains intact. The only thing they lost (by their own actions) was the QB. Yes, it takes time to find the right guy, but we've been told for years that "the system" is what matters and you can win with any avg QB. Bill is the system. It shouldn't take that long to rebuild. Whatever. I don't believe any of that BS. Having talented players is what makes you a contender. Next year will be the same as this year.

I think the difference is that this fanbase feels the need to tell everybody that its a rebuild...while we have been criticizing all these types teams for 20 years.

Well, it is a rebuild. The Pats were able to stay afloat and in the NFL playoffs because of you-know-who. They're trying to do a rebuild without that player and the results aren't great...yet.

Sure, but by this standard, theres about 25 rebuilding teams in the league...At some point, they are just teams that arent that good or are just missing a generational quarterback. Those are rare to find
