Not a horrible take, but I think you're selling our defense a little too short. I think we played really well, we were down 2 of our top 3 corners, had two turnovers against a great offense and a top two qb in the league.Too many mistakes against a superior team. Starting with special teams, obviously giving up 2 KO returns for TDs is inexcusable. For a team that invests a lot in their ST, this was a major Fail this season.
3 INTs in the second half of a must win game is not what you're looking for from your quarterback. A pretty wasted season for Mac ends disappointedly.
Defensively they got burnt a couple times by an elite quarterback. The inability of the defense to step it up against the better quarterbacks in NFL is now a two year trend.
Without BB, Patricia wouldn't be anywhere near this teamYeah, it's a ridiculous stand. Without BB, this team would probably have won 6 games this year if lucky. My family always says that we'll regret if we ever get rid of him.
I think he'd get a head coaching job without much trouble. His team has sort of given up on him, but they did win a SB last yearHas anyone suggested bringing in McVay as OC? Wild idea, but apparently the honeymoon might be over in LA.
Sure. They count in the final score but the offense didn’t put up 35 and you can’t say they would have without the KR for TDs. Whatever, the lost. Time to move onPretty sure ST points count too. Plus they would have had 2 more drives without the ST points
Would you object if Patricia was a consultant for this team?Without BB, Patricia wouldn't be anywhere near this team
Bryant is going to finish this year playing ~700 snaps on D.For instance….

Myles Bryant, ladies and gentlemen. Stare at your teammate while the receiver blows right past you. I don’t really fault JJ on that Diggs touchdown. Just have to tip your hat to two elite players, making an elite play. This Brown TD is a different story.
They hung with them for the most part 11 v 11 and created the turnovers that they needed, which makes their special teams play/futility even more frustrating.
Bryant was a problem at the end of last year, and the hope was he wouldn’t be on the field at all this year. Instead he was the problem in the last game this year too. He didn’t really improve much in general. For instance….

Again?Would you object if Patricia was a consultant for this team?
Anyone disliking this post is not an actual Pats fan, but is instead a Belicheck fanThe saddest thing is everyone could of told you in pre season that Achord sucked and Judge should of been put back on special teams and Matt Patricia had no business being an offensive coordinator.
Bill claims to do what's best for the team but that's a bunch of crap as has been proven but his decisions wasting a season, Bill does what's best for Bill.
Zero chance he takes an OC job when he'd have several teams willing to pay him a ton to be HC. Unless Kraft was willing to match or pay him HC money to be OC.Has anyone suggested bringing in McVay as OC? Wild idea, but apparently the honeymoon might be over in LA.
McVay isnt being fired.Has anyone suggested bringing in McVay as OC? Wild idea, but apparently the honeymoon might be over in LA.
They might be right. But on the other hand, we might be looking at Tom Landry’s last five years.Yeah, it's a ridiculous stand. Without BB, this team would probably have won 6 games this year if lucky. My family always says that we'll regret if we ever get rid of him.
Like all HCs he needs very good coordinators. OC, DC and ST.Yeah, it's a ridiculous stand. Without BB, this team would probably have won 6 games this year if lucky. My family always says that we'll regret if we ever get rid of him.
Personally, I'd love to see him as the next head coach of the Pats when Belichick hangs em up.I think he'd get a head coaching job without much trouble. His team has sort of given up on him, but they did win a SB last year
that was before my time, but there's no coach, college or pro that is still as good as BB...plain and simple....the team did not quit toward the end of the year and put up a fight today....we need more talent, and hopefully another good draft and we'll be right there. They might be right. But on the other hand, we might be looking at Tom Landry’s last five years.
This year was brutal as they changed OCs and systems. He’s gonna have his third OC in three years. Can’t be a recipe for future success.
Would be an awesome idea, setting up to be the successor when Belichick retires, but I can’t imagine a SB winning coach with as much success as he’s had wouldn’t find another HC job right away. Sounds like if he’s out he’s potentially interested in TV instead.Has anyone suggested bringing in McVay as OC? Wild idea, but apparently the honeymoon might be over in LA.
