Its not a question of hate. BB has done a poor job this year as both gm and coach and it is perfectly OK to respectfully call him out on that. He said himself, hold him accountable.

The era of blind BB worship should have ended 5 years ago
And the era of worshipping Brady should have ended when he left the Patriots.

Belichick is my favorite sports personality (player or coach) ever. I would let him coach this team until he walks away. And even I have trouble justifying what we have seen from this team this season. Mac, the OC, the stupid penalties, stupid mistakes, etc. The buck stops with BB.

On that note, I have so much faith in BB that I am eagerly waiting to see what he does this off-season to fix it. With the D they have, even an average offense and typical BB mistake-free football would have this team battling for a top seed.

But I can't say anyone who blasts BB is wrong. And I sure as shyt don't want them muted or censored here. Why the f.uck are people so soft they can't handle the "negativity" of a different viewpoint?

If this place becomes an echo chamber of the Rah-Rah brigade, it's going to be really boring. As boring as any *********** can be.

I don't know why saying this causes so much pearl clutching. He said it himself in the beginning of the season if the offense doesn't work it is on him. He put Patricia and Mac in a position to fail and they did. Bill has always played the "I do what's in the best interest of the team" card but not finding a real OC was certainly not in the best interest of the team.

I'm still waiting for the first poster to say that hiring Patricia as OC was a good idea

It isn’t negativity. Some of the posters here want the patriots to fail because they let their man crush go and blame Bb for that. They want to stomp on his legacy because him succeeding somehow throws shade on Tom’s legacy. Patriots fans on this site have listened to these few posters for three years now and we are sick of it. This site should be a place of discussion about the team, both good and bad, not a place where someone like SamBam says “ the era of blind bb worship should have ended 5 years ago. “ Those 5 years included a Super Bowl win and 3 of 4 years in the playoffs.

There was a decent amount of people on here who said it was social to think that since Patrica knows defense he should know offense and we shouldn't be so skeptical.

Yes, that, but you have to admit a noticeable percentage of the posters have hated BB even before this season started, and now they have the sharp knives out.
Translation:
A noticeable percentage of the posters have been pointing out BB's shortcomings as a GM/HC in recent years before the season started, and now even IBWT idealogues are questioning him.

Really, wow. I stand corrected. I guess it was trying to find a silver lining in a dark cloud. C'mon right?

No good can come of this.
What a clown show.
Again letting free agents know we are going to screw them.
I’m sure players will definitely attracted to come here.

Yep… This franchise is f ucking screwed as long as there is even ONE Belichick left in the building.

I understand that there are homers on here and I sometimes envy them in being able to always find some sort of silver lining but this OC experiment was a mess from the start and hasn't improved. This isn't a "hindsight is 20/20" thing either. Tons of posters and local media questioned it at the time.

Why don’t you grow up and leave the board. It would be a much nicer place and the collective iq would go up immensely.

As someone who loved seeing Brady win a 7th Super Bowl, I have never hoped for BB to fail. The vast majority of people who still root for Brady are also able to remain diehard Pats fans. It's not quite as hard as walking and chewing gum at the same time, but we manage.

I am guessing not one of these "few posters" want the Patriots to lose. But let's say you are right. We are sick of it? That's soft. I like reading other views, even ones I find idiotic. If you truly believe someone is a fool, it's best to let him prove it by speaking.

It would be really easy also to point at the obsessively anti Brady people here as part of the problem. Or let me say "problem" because I don't see a real problem. There were a lot of self-righteous douche bags (ok, maybe just a few) who kept throwing "not a real fan" shots at those who wanted Brady to do well. Some even got banned from threads for supporting Brady. Personally, I find that kind of drama humorous and entertaining, but it certainly may have contributed to some over the top anti-BB backlash.

Again, as someone who loves BB, I don't agree with most of the BB criticism. But I like reading it. And I like the back and forth, even the ones that get heated. It's almost like this is a message board. A forum for views.

My greatest football wish is for BB to win one more SB. If he doesn't, I hope Brady wins another. Anyone who says I am not a real fan can eat my ass. But I welcome them saying it.

Anyway, it's possible our CB coach has no clue what he's doing…

Bingo.

. I tend to doubt it for a variety of reasons. But there are a lot of coaches out there who don't look the part.

Belichick, Scarnecchia, a lot of guys.

Heck, Charlie Weis never even played high school football.

And it took them all many years if not decades to earn the respect of their players… This clown car of coaches is the least experienced, most unqualified (i.e.: the Worst) in the Entire league.

I had hopes but Jesus what an unmitigated disaster.

Three things happened.

1) BB completely miscalculated how much Mac still relied on/needed mentorship and to jeopardize a mid-1st rd draft pick QB's development, that was completely reckless.
2) BB completely miscalculated how good Josh was at his job.
3) BB completely misjudged Fat Matt's and Judge's offensive coaching, scheming and mentoring ability of QBs and offensive play-calling.

If it wasn't for BB being really good at other things (defense, 2 to 3 good drafts in a row and making the playoffs last year), my calls for his outright dismissal might be a lot louder.

When the owner of the site plans on implementing changes to the site to deal with this crap, yes there is an issue. This is supposed to be a fan site. Not a site for fans and a small minority to post over and over the team sucks, no matter how well they do.
