Reiss: Jack Jones and Jake Bailey moved to "Reserve/Suspended"

IMO it simply comes down to Bill believes he needs a team completely on the same page to win.

If it means benching or cutting a key player, that is more important than any single game, even if it's a Super Bowl.
Benching/cutting is one thing, but suspending is something else entirely. You are taking money out of a man's pocket when you suspend him. (Yes cutting a player takes away money as well, but when a player gets cut they are free to go elsewhere.)

There are 2 sides to every story but based on their own statements from counsel, Bailey looks to have a strong case and Jones not so much.

Being a distraction due to sucking is not a valid reason for suspension though.
So maybe there’s more reason to it than just that? Even though this board thinks everything relevant is known here that’s just not true.

I'm fascinated by this exchange. There's a snitch on the forum that goes by little birdie?

Those aren't "little birdies," they're parrots. And they are BIG. Snitching is beneath them, they dictate terms and expect compliance.

What about a Quaker?

Are they parrots or little birdies?

If you ever want to learn anything about parrots, let me know. (This would assume demonstrable sincerity on your behalf.)

Looking a bit "round," I hope his/her wings aren't clipped. That's the worst thing anyone can do to a parrot, they need to fly to be healthy physically and mentally.

Never clipped. She goes wherever she wants.

I know Bailey hasn’t been up to par this year, but we could have used him tomorrow with kickoffs…..

Trying to get things back on track here:

I think it was @RobertWeathers who suggested this was a potential “teaching moment” by Bill, looks like that may have been the case here.

God forbid discipline is exacted with the goal of eradicating undesirable behavior....

The Bailey situation is confusing. The stories in the media say that the team suspended him for refusing to play when he was healthy, the agent claims the player wanted to play and was held out by the team. Knowing that there is a grievance process, I can't imagine the team would pick a fight that they don't think they can win.

It feels like (from my perspective) respect for authority is very thin this season, so perhaps Bill had to take a more drastic approach to send a message. At the same time, it’s possible that these issues with Jack Jones only occurred in the first place due to that lessened respect for authority.

This has nothing to do with parrots.
