Rodgers is sort of notorious for losing bizarre match-ups against guys he shouldn't lose to. I could see this one keeping that trend going if that's how it shakes out. They're gonna lose to Green Bay in the wild card.
LOL, apparentlySo if they lose in the playoffs, bet the house against the team that knocked them out?
That offense has way too many weapons. I keep waiting for the wheels to fall off the Purdy bus. But with those receivers, the TE and those backs, he basically just has to not **** up and throw 3-4 picks. They're gonna lose to Green Bay in the wild card.
Postseason is an entirely animal. Unless you're a prodigy like Brady, experience matters. That offense has way too many weapons. I keep waiting for the wheels to fall off the Purdy bus. But with those receivers, the TE and those backs, he basically just has to not **** up and throw 3-4 picks.
I don't think the Packers D can handle them. I mean they are giving up 5 ypc. McCaffrey and Mitchell would have a field day.
I also think the Lions have a really good chance of pulling this one out tonight.
I hear ya. Like I said have been waiting for the wheels to fall off. Hasn't happened yet. I think their fans are feeling better than the other top teams tonight. I mean if you're an Eagles or Cowboys fan you have to be a bit worried about your team laying a turd today. Maybe Hurts is still injured but barely beating the Giants backups, not good. And the Cowboys were atrocious today.Postseason is an entirely animal. Unless you're a prodigy like Brady, experience matters.
This is interesting:
Tough team. Curious to see how far they'll go in these next few weeks.
I suppose Green Bay has to get in first. But the NFC is wide open. The only team I'm counting out is NYG. If an AFC team doesn't win the Super Bowl then it will be a major upset.I hear ya. You think it would be a major upset if the Eagles beat Buffalo or Cincinnati? I don't.I suppose Green Bay has to get in first. But the NFC is wide open. The only team I'm counting out is NYG. If an AFC team doesn't win the Super Bowl then it will be a major upset.
Can a compensation 6th rounder carry a team ? Asking for a friend.Eventually you need the QB to win a game for you. Or at least be a huge difference maker. Because there is always going to be an elite QB that will put up points on that D. No matter how great they are. It's inevitably going to happen.
49ers are still an elite QB away from being a true SB contender imo. Three years ago Jimmy G could not make the plays when he absolutely had to. Last year he folded when his D wasn't getting turnovers.
I just don't see Purdy ever outdueling a Mahomes, Burrow, or Allen type QB in a SB. A 7th round QB can only be carried so far.
I also don't trust a Shanahan led offense in the 4th quarter of a critical playoff game.
SB 51, SB 54, and the Rams playoff game.

I can't find this phrase anywhere, but it sounds interesting. Reference?Postseason is an entirely animal.
