No one knows the true story here...however BB and the pats have had a history with moves like this and with angry players.
If the suspension is overturned it will certainly be another negative PR hit for the patriots.

First thought is that Pats are likely very unhappy with his availability and performance this year after he signed the big extension and are looking for any way to get out of it.

Anyway, it's possible our CB coach has no clue what he's doing. I tend to doubt it for a variety of reasons. But there are a lot of coaches out there who don't look the part.

Belichick, Scarnecchia, a lot of guys.

Heck, Charlie Weis never even played high school football.

People act like these corporations aren't interested in the money aspect in these incidents. Hell, the Pats tried to renege on the $9M signing bonus to AB and they ended up paying him $5M (for one game) which was still a great deal for them. It's usually about the money.

It's not just this issue. There's been disruptions all year. The coaching clown show. Players yelling at coaches, etc..
