They definitely didn't show up today. I figured with White back they might have even won today but they just laid down. Nothing to play for next week either other than a better draft pick.
His ribs still seem to bothering him

You did just copy my post lol:

Sorry Ross, I saw a tweet with the info and got too excited and just posted. Didn’t mean to steal your thunder.

Jags are currently (-6.0) favored over Tits next week. Should be a win.

Jets should be favored by a couple points if Skylar is the QB. Coin flip game.

Steelers have no business winning 2 games in a row. Ravens favored (-2.5). Steelers will be (-2.5) against Browns next week.

All 3 results the Pats need to happen are more likely to happen than not. Or, we could beat the Bills.
Steelers have won 3 in a row now and 5 of their last 6 (they saved my ass at the Casino). They're running hot. Jets will probably lose to get a better draft pick and keep the Pats out.

Wow the Saturday game has KC/Vegas.

If Buffalo wins tomorrow, and then KC loses Saturday, the Bills have nothing to play for against NE. They would have locked the 1 seed up.

I thought for sure they would have KC, Buffalo, and Cincinnati all playing at the same time.

Every one of those games has implications except for IND vs HOU. Why even bother.

they were jet lagged

Imagine walking into a casino and betting a Jags, Jets, Browns Parlay at any point in the last 20 years lol. Only option is to take care of our own business.
This is exactly what I was going to post. Relying on 3 of the worst franchises in the NFL, to all win in crunch time... in the same week.

Hardly worth doing the calculations. Just beat Buffalo, baby.

Is this a copy/paste of my post? Lol
Do you actually believe that I'm taking credit for your post?

I simply wanted to track all the games that NE needs to have go their way in real time. In 1 location instead of searching through posts to find the magic formula and for everyone to see because Mac Jones is not rolling into Buffalo and beating the Bills.

My idea was helpful to at least 1 person. Nikolai who is in the military and I assume still out of the country.

The Chiefs playing on Saturday could be a sneaky benefit to the Patriots...

If the Bengals beat the Bills tonight. Then, if the Chiefs win Saturday, the Bills will have nothing to play for as the Chiefs get the #1 seed.

And even if the Bills beat the Bengals tonight...if the Raiders upset the Chiefs Saturday, the Bills would have the #1 seed wrapped up.

If Bills have the #1 seed and a bye, they will not be resting Allen and others for the full game with such a long lay off. IMO

A lot depends on how his elbow is feeling. They may feel it is better to get two weeks of healing vs the benefits of keeping his game timing fresh.

Simple way to get in:

- Beat the Bills

But there are ways to get in even if they lose to the Bills:

- Jets lose today and win next week
- LV loses
- Pit loses
- Ten loses
Plan B will not go well for the Patriots. I'm talking if it actually happens. Everyone (outside of NE) will be laughing at them for backing in with a sub .500 record and then they will be facing a double digit spread against KAN, CIN or BUF. And finally their price for the backdoor 7th seed (which the NFL needs to seriously rethink) will be a lower draft pick and an 8-10 record.

The idea is to get in and see what happens. That's what it's all about. Take our chances!!!! Are you ready?????????????????

Reading through this thread is sad. This is what it's come to? Mental gymnastics for how our team can back into the playoffs with a losing record. So we can witness another loss.

If the Patriots can beat an all-in Bills team then maybe I'll change my tune. But until then they're just another team who can't beat an opponent with a real quarterback. Hello Mahomes, Burrow or Allen.

With the steelers winning last night, I'm not worrying about these scenarios anymore. Getting 2 was somewhat realistic but all 3 is highly unlikely. We have to win to get in.

Chiefs being given a Saturday game is incredibly bizarre. I would have bet my house on the Bills, Chiefs, and Bengals all playing at the same time.

Get in on their own merit. I'm totally down with that. Best an all-in Bills team and solidify a playoff spot with some legitimacy. Otherwise it's merely a product of a too generous playoff setup.

I'm not interested in an inevitable 8-10 finish. It won't be worth it. Sign me up for upsetting Buffalo next week though (and then I might be ready).
