Rashawn slater and then JAGs on their O line...

Slater was placed on IR after their week-3 game vs Jax... Rookie 6th-rounder Jamaree Salyer has performed quite admirably in his place since then... Ex-Packer Corey Linsley's a good Center too; but otherwise yeah not a great OL... First-rounder and former BC Eagle Zion Johnson has performed surprisingly poorly for them at RG this year; heck I thought he'd be the one to replace Slater at LT... Oops...

I will defer to you because I haven’t watched the Chargers much this year.

However, PFF has him as the 4th best guard in the league behind Onwenu.

I don't subscribe to PFF so I didn't know that... Surprised by his lofty rating, because whenever I've seen him - either on national broadcasts or on the 12-minute highlights via Youtube, and I focus on him & Salyer specifically - he hasn't looked good at all, especially in pass protection...

The question of if J.Jones gets big $ deal to leave in FA?
He'll be 30 at the start of next season, most teams won't see him as a top outside CB, and I think the Pats will want to keep a solid homegrown DB in the secondary to continue leadership when DMac retires (I'm guessing this year). I don't think he'll be demanding JC Jackson money in the market. I can see Pats making a competitive offer to keep him.

Question is - does Mills stick around? Or do we enter next year with M.Jones & Jack Jones as our 2 starting Corners?
I think Mills is on a 4 yr deal? I believe the teams needs to do what they can to hold on to thier own home grown players. Jon Jones and Myers should be retained.

Definitely D Mac will retire, so it's Philips, Dugger and hopefully peppers will resign.
Mills was Never worth the contract to which Bill signed him.
If he wants to avoid being a salary cap casualty, then he needs to accept a not-insignificant pay cut.
Believe Mills was something like 4 yr 24/mill deal? I think? someone can correct me if not. He was expected to be a jack knife safety/ corner. However with Injuries, and guys like wade not panning out he ended up being a starting corner.

He is a physical DB, got great ball skills. He's a better zone corner than man.. I'd rather see him at safety myself. I wonder if BB will ask him to play at safety more next season. He's had groin Injuries going back to playing with the eagles.

Playing his position a groin Injuries is something you can't play with!

Yeah Mills signed a 4-year contract, but the Pats hold the cards after this season.

No Marcus Jones at practice today... Terrific.

I noticed that he appeared injured after he recovered Chase's fumble late in the 4th quarter; maybe someone landed on his shoulder?

Just great!! Outside of rham. He's our best offensive weapon!

With as many targets as he has, were they using him in other roles aside from iLB?
Couldn’t really tell you without pulling up the All-22. I don’t pay attention to their games as closely as I do the Pats. Might want to look at opposing RBs and TEs and how they’ve done against the Jags this year. I can tell you that, from what I saw, he looked like your typical rookie ILB early on. Confused about his assignments, slow in play recognition, etc. I watched more of him early in the season because he was someone I had hoped the Pats would draft.

down to 2 CBs this week and 1 of them is Myles Bryant lol Waddle might feast this week. woman beater, Jon Jones has shown he can matchup with him a couple of times.

Teddy might be better than tua. Tua hasnt played that well agsinst us. and look at our injury list

The betting odds have not budged after the latest news.

Another close game down to the end.

I think Hill had something to do with assaulting his child no? That was hunt who assaulted the woman.. But Yes I have to imagine by now, opposing OCs know we have a strong Defense however, "myles away from a WR Bryant " is the target. He's a great run support tackler however other than that he should strictly be a ST or practice squad player...

I wish Jack Jones were healthy enough to play. Even mills would help! I'd double waddle, and play 7,10 yards off the line with hill. Waddle keeps the chains ?? moving.
