I can’t remember the last time I thought that the Pats have zero chance to win a game.

But I doubt they can even make a game of it.
Times have changed.

The Falcons have basically never bounced back from 28-3. Not sure that the Pats can come back from their epic collapse and then literally throwing the game away.

Your optimism is great, Ashley!

I share a lot of your positive thinking. I think that the roster is a lot more talented than many realize. Not just the obvious (Rhamondre, Judon, Dugger, Marcus and Jack J) but also Parker, Meyers, Damien Harris, Uche, D-Wise. Which makes the poor play on offense so much more frustrating! The unimaginative play design, the predictable play-calling, the uncoordinated O-line blocking, the needless penalties. If only those could be fixed this would actually be a pretty good team, I think. But it looks like it's too late.

Still, I'll root for them to the end of the final day of the season!

There’s some history to go by. Not sure if it’s entirely relevant, though. The most recent example is actually us in 2018. After the Miami Miracle, they put up a stinker. That’s the point I wrote them off, and ended up being very wrong.

Love it!!!!

We have to be mentally strong, not like that weak minded franchise!!! This team has historically proven to be resilient, so let's see what we can do against this Cincy!!!!!

Bengals can lose out and will still make the playoffs.
Surprisingly Pats can lose this game and still have a shot by beating Dolphins at home (possible) and beating Bills if they're seeding is secure by week 18. But, we'd either play @BUF or @KC in the first round - and that'd be a humiliating slaughter. Soooo...
It's more likely we lose these last 3 games anyway. The only redeeming value now is to see if Zappe is indeed that much different than Mac against good teams. I expect to see this by the 2nd half vs. Bengals. Then it's open season for the last 2.

You will not see Zappe the rest of the season unless it's a blowout for the Pats or the opponent (or there's an injury).

I was with you all season... but lately things seem different.
I wouldn't be so sure we don't see Zappe if we're losing by 16+ in the 2nd half, and/or for a few quarters the last 2 games.

Defense made plays in Arizona but not in Nevada. How are they going to be against the powerful Bengal offense?

Not looking good.

Bengals Offense way more Balance with Four WRs' better than any of our guys plus two excellent RB's it could get ugly Joe Burrow is walking First Down.

What if Cincy get's a two score lead before the half and our Offense is stuck in quick sand what then??

You'll see Mac until the game is out of hand. A two-score deficit is not out of hand.

(Yeah, I know you'll say "for this team it is" but it shouldn't be for any NFL team with a half of football left to play).

Missing both Mills and Jack Jones hurt them against the Raiders. It could have been much much worse if the Raiders had a competent QB. We're not going to know if the Patriots have a shot until we get our other CBs back

I would not be shocked to see Mac benched. I think Curran is not wrong when it comes to the coaches not being in Mac's corner.

It's a shame Jalen Mills have a history of hammy problems.
