Psst! I admitted I was wrong about this long ago. I trusted Belichick and thought more of Patricia's experience would transfer. I was wrong and I admitted it.

Good for you to spend all this time trying to drudge up all my old posts. I have better things to do with my life to datamine other people's posts from six months ago to try to make them look bad, but I guess I really don't care enough about you to waste my time. Every year BB's coaching staff gets poached. Somehow he seems to overcome that. Not this year.

Not only did McDaniels leave, he took a bunch of coaching talent with him. Hopefully Patricia is a stopgap until BOB is available next year.

Not making excuses for Mac. He has been horrible. I had so much hope for his future after his rookie season . I still hold out hope for him in the future, but he needs to take a big tall glass of STFU.

Mac sucks because of lack of coaching. Large sample size of Mac sucking.
Conclusion: Coaching is REALLY important!

Zappe was exposed in the 2nd half against Chicago. Very small sample size compared to his other games. It is not important that Zappe got 0% of the reps in practice. That's just an excuse.
Conclusion: Coaching and preparation are not important.


Mac is undoubtedly less than he would be due to shyt coaching. But Mac's shortcomings have also been evident.

Since so many think Mac's issues are all about coaching (and a lot of it is), it is faulking idiotic to declare Zappe exposed due to one half when you consider the coaching and preparation circumstances of that half a game.

But you keep on making dreadful takes like Dan Orlovsky is bad mouthing Patricia's play calling because he is trying to become the the Patriots offensive coordinator despite never coaching at any level or any coaching position.

Donald, kupp and stafford have all missed a chunk of games. They underachieved, but you also missed the injuries on the offensive line and won’t acknowledge the patriots have a pretty good roster as well. Again, you can lie to yourself to make yourself feel good; but Mcvay has been a great coach for a half decade without an elite quarterback. If one bad season is your standard, then we might need to start looking around the league and maybe at our own staff? You can hang on 4-10, and if we want to use that logic, I will repeat 79-88.

I'll say this again: they were 3-7 with Kupp, Stafford and Donald.

These are all pros.

And it's not one bad season, they missed the playoffs after 2019 too.

Suddenly the Patriots have a good roster though. Wow, Belichick the M must be pretty good.

People can have it both ways, side ways, anyway they want it, but 3-7 and 4-10 doesn't lie.

Pats right now have dont have a single difference maker who can take over the game. Uche is close but oddly he was out on the TD play vs the raiders. There isnt one player who can grab the game by the scruff of the neck and not let them lose.

I have been a mac jones supporter all season. i think BB messed up by the OC situaiton and also by playing him the chicago game. Things went south after that. But you cant just blame everyone else publicly and cry boo hoo that he has been wronged. Imagine if brady did all these yrs especually when he was young. You gotta fight , bring leadership to the team and have everyone fall in line and refuse to lose. Blowing a gasket just enables other players to do what they want like the raiders game.

Mac was supposed to play the entire Chicago game. I think it was that INT thrown off the back foot like a prayer that got him benched that game
