Willie McGinest arrested

I was really hoping this was going to be something like Charles Barkely (before the video explosion) where a guy kept messing with him and he finally had had enough and threw him through a plate glass window. This was a premeditated hit. Unless it comes out that the other guy who really goes to town on the victim is related to Willie and the victim was messing with one of their wives or daughters this is pretty bad. With all the video these days, and I know this was the old fashion kind not a cell phone, it wasn't well thought out. With all those witnesses it has to be something bad enough to warrant them going in ganster like that. He pretty much threw away his plush gig on NFLN where he has to be making at least a mllion per year.

EDIT: I looked it up. His salary is 5 years and 5 million per year. I hope this ends up being worth it.

Re-Edit: that source was bad information. I'm not sure what he gets paid.
Where did you see his NFL Network salary. That wouldn’t be public info

Gangstas don't roll like that.

Looks like it all went down at a Bob Evans.

Well, motive matters if you can claim self defense or the legit fear of imminent harm.

From the video, the victim was just sitting there. Even if he had said something to McGinest (for example) outside the restaurant, that doesn’t justify walking up and attacking a man.

Yea I mean unless the guy told him he was going to murder his whole family after he left the club

It’s possible if this was more “street” related he won’t press charges, but the DA can still move it forward themselves and they like nailing high profile people

Really sad Willie was one of my Favorite all time Pats players like Law and Milloy. Did you need all those guys to jump one guy?? Not a good look at all.
Why would this incident change your view of him? I still like Willie. Not gonna judge him w/o knowing all the facts. Even then, it was a fight, albeit one sided. Dude that got accosted was smart enough to stay low. Didn't seem too messed up. Tough dude. Now if he hits a woman or child that's different in my opinion.

In the Kamara incident, they totally f*cked up that dude. We still haven't heard all the details on that one and the league is yet to act.

Lol at the ‘friend’ of the victim . I understand its not ideal to also get roughed up but thats your boy, get in there!

Ehhhh if Willie McGinest shows up and starts stuff with my friend, I may suddenly have an urge to go sit in a toilet stall for 5 hours lol

Willie is an enormous human

Be surprised if he doesn't get a few years for this. He is human scum. How bad was the guy beaten?

Serisouly, child. You are pulling idiocy out of thin air.

There may have been a previous beef.... maybe even an assault.... but that guy didn't beat up 51 year old Willie McGinest's grandmother. Tough to take someone seriously when they suggest that as an alternative.

You can play the ridiculous "could have" game. I will play the "more likely" game.
The "seeing is believing" game is the best choice.

Willie looked like a coward with the way he and his sidekicks suckered that man.

The dude is in a coma. We see him on the ground bleeding from his eyeballs. Couldn't stand, speak or sh*T. A real human tragedy.

to me it all depends on why he did it... I have to believe that dude did something really bad for Willie to lose his cool and openly assault someone in public

Honestly tho the overall beating didnt seem that vicious, my friend left a bar in Boston a bunch of years ago and a group of 3-4 teens jumped and hospitalized him. He had broken jaw and multiple broken bones in his arm from trying to shield his head/face from them kicking it. When he got his first surgery to repair it his arm was in an S shape (looked like that POW dudes arm in the Ukraine War thread). He also didnt have medical insurance and went like $20,000 in debt for all of that. The group of teens that assaulted him had done it to others that month as well, and they were arrested a couple weeks after his beating for doing it to someone else who they ended up killing.. and they were a bunch of scrawny ass teenagers

This almost looks like this guy did something really messed up/insulting, so they smacked him up a bit but there's no way they were going full power on this dude or he'd be dead... it was more like a smack down to embarrass him and put him in his place

This is the dude Kamara's crew put a beatdown on. They got him on the ground a kicked the sh*t out of him.

Zo on the radio said he spoke to a mutual friend and that he was told "there's more to the story". The only way this makes any sense is if that guy did something to a family member.

Tell Willie his draws are falling down... that's Pathetic for someone poor, nevermind a rich guy.
