Try to be positive for once

When you lack insight and/or self awareness but are anxious for affirmation you tend to descend into negativity. The Sports Hub radio station is apparently devoted to that approach which probably reinforces the mentality with the fans.

Any idiot can burn down a house. It takes skill and effort to build one.

The one time the offense was clicking like it should was when Zappe took over. He was hitting TE's , WR's running backs and spreading the ball around like it should be with all our talent, I might rewatch that game as therapy.

I am here either way but I didn't think my thread was out of line. Seemed to be a conversation worth having.
That's a topic for after the season although I will guarantee you there will be no head coaching change this year, other coaching personal is a different story.

You must not have watched the game he played against the Bears in the 2nd half then. I'd play that one back as well.

I can respect that. I highly doubt Bill is going anywhere either unless he refuses to make changes to the staff. I can't imagine the Kraft's won't insist on some changes.

But Chicago.

Zappe lost that game so he must shine footballs the rest of this season.

I can assure you that the are similar feelings for the over-the-top, unfounded positivity on this site. Since we are giving advice, maybe try to be a little more realistic?

Too many trolls on here now, there is no positivity with them. When the team wins, you hear nothing from them, in fact, the only time you hear from them is when we are losing. They contribute nothing to this forum and offer nothing but negativity.

I like to focus on the positive things and think some of these tough losses that we have had will only make our team better going forward!!!!

Let's go!!!!
No offense, seriously, but I don't think you know what the word troll means. Trolling is just typing **** for the sake of pissing off other people, not to really bring true value to the discussion. Being a negative nancy doesn't make you a troll. It just makes you a pessimist. Like @Kontradiction is a troll. Not me. I'm just a negative lil bish

I remember when this site was active and people had discussions. Now it is so negative let's all try to say something positive.

Yes the team is not the world beaters we have been but the team is still about above average and not the worst team like a lot of people seem to think
Lol this reminds me of when I'd get in middle school fights and we'd have to go to the counselor's office and say something nice about each other. Neither of us meant it but we had to check the box

It was really fun watching those Zappe games
The thing that was weird is it seemed like the offensive line issues almost disappeared when Zappe was starting. I don't know what they were doing differently but they need to go back to it.

I'm positive that Mac is not the QB.

This dink and dunk passing offense does not fly. Highfiving over a FG is not good enough. At the very least we have a chance to compete with Zappe. If the Pats get down by 2 scores vs the Bengals, BB has to make a change at QB.

On the plus side, two more years of this and BB will have his record AND season ticket sellers--oops I mean holders--will hopefully open up the damn waiting list

Impressed with Rhamondre yesterday and the running game overall. They have some real talent on D- Uche, Judon, Marcus Jones, Jonathan Jones
Nick Folk is very reliable

It was weird being at that Monday Night Football game against the Bears and seeing so many Bears fans and hearing a good amount of cheers when Chicago scored.

Some Patriots positives:
- The Pats don't miss JC Jackson as much as we thought we might.
- 2nd in the league right now in takeaways
- Marcus Jones looks like a gem.
- Still optimistic about Thornton
- The Uche pick is finally starting to pay off.
- Folk somehow is as reliable as it gets. Kicker problems are the last thing this team needs and he's been great.
- We have a top 10 run defense right now after facing 4 of the league's top 10 rushers so far. Pats have not had a top 10 run defense since 2019 (and our schedule this season is a lot harder than it was then). Last year and the year before our run defense was bottom 10.
- Excluding the wind game last year for obvious reasons, the Patriots had their first legit 200 yard rushing game since week 1 of 2020 - without Harris, and Thuney and Mason playing elsewhere. And I think they can be even better.
- Patriots are +3 in turnover differential, and have only 2 turnovers since the bye week.

Mac10 is the biggest troll on this forum, yet he gets a pass because he pretends to like BB while constantly trolling the Patriots past successes and achievements to troll Brady, which is perfectly fine with some of the mods.

Another positive to add about yesterday's game: Patriots held Josh Jacobs to 93 yards on 22 carries for 4.2 YPC. Jacobs is the leading rusher in the league.

Also did a nice job on Chubb earlier in the season.

I'll try. Here's a few positives from yesterday on the same drive.
Mac threw a TD pass in the game....oh wait, someone called time out and the play was nullified.
Mac did a QB sneak for a TD...oh wait, illegal procedure penalty.

Where are you seeing we have a top 10 run defense? Agree on the rest.
