Yes.BB can only be considered GOAT HC if - and only if - he takes Mac Jones to a Super Bowl and wins? Only under those conditions? All of his other achievements and accomplishments are moot and he will never be considered the GOAT unless BB takes Mac Jones to a Super Bowl and wins?
Strange stuff.
Why?
Becuase a head coach is a coach - not a player on the field.
Head coaches are dependent on players (who actually play the game and perform with their own skills and talent).
And too much of his accomplishments as a head coach are tied to one player - Brady.
And we always factor in success with others as apart of any GOAT debate.
So we need to look at how he has been as a head coach without the most clutch, most consistent, longest lasting QB in league history.
It's not been good. Almost 10 full seasons. 1 playoff win. 3 winning seasons only.
So it begs the question: how do we know for sure that we would be calling him the GOAT if he didn't have Brady specifically?
Espeically when the big hoopla surrounding Bill is that he can win with any QB.
That applies more to Joe Gibbs
