THIS IS OUR LIVE GAME DAY THREAD:

This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.

At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.

Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.

This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.

If you do you will have your account suspended.

This team is bad. Just ineffectual and meek. Yeah that TD call was stupid, but I'm sorry, the players dropped so many passes and the offense has officially wasted a very good defense. And then the defense is too tired to finish the game.

Everything, from top to bottom, is bad on this team - except the defense. It is impossible for a defense to be successful if they have to hold every team to less than two scores to for the offense to win.

There isn't a single person to spare in the blame, but the coaches receive a lion's share for being terrible leaders. Just God awful. Even when we scored, the offense barely would get hyped with one another. That is a deflated team.

Did Myers not know the game was tied.

I'm still baffled how that all played out. It was clear as day the point of his shoe were on the line.
I suspect they will say the heel touched first, then the toe. I don’t know of another explanation. I would have called it out of bounds.

That was a tremendously stupid play by Meyers, but the bagjob by the NY review room is the only thing that matters here.

We show up to an officiated competition expecting the rules to be followed and enforced fairly. When a fundamental lack of trust is gone, and there is clear and obvious evidence of corruption and game-fixing, you can't play the game.

I can live with my team sucking. I can live with my team doing stupid things. I cannot live with a competition where rules are being violated and corrupted by those in charge of enforcing said rules ... because then there are no rules.

I will need to seriously think about if I will watch future games. We have crystal-clear, 100% ironclad evidence that someone in the NY review room has it out for the Pats. Why bother watching if that's the case? It's not a fair competition; it's fixed.

Henry catch ruled TD on field. Overturned on review.
Agholor ruled catch on field - obvious evidence that foot was OOB on review - overturned by expedited review.
In an identical play to the Agholor one, Cole ruled catch on field - obvious evidence that foot was OOB on review - play stands after extended review.

If the Henry review was the smoke, the Cole review was the fire. The NFL is fixing games.
We can even take it to the Tyquan catch in the 1st half. Under 2 minutes. No review. It was clear he got 2 toes down, then heel. But no booth review.

Not to mention the refs holding the ball so McDaniels could challenge.

No. Freaking. Way. Should. They. Have. Been. Throwing. That. Ball. Around. In. That. Situation. PERIOD!!!!!!!

I legit had to double check the score. That's how dumb it was. They convinced me we were losing.

As bad as the Pats are, they had this game.

If you didn't like Mac before the game, you won't like Mac after he turtled when Jones caught the ball. This dude is a pansy.

I hope Meyers goes to another team next year. He's overly targeted and makes almost zero impact. Now he can add most idiotic play of the year to his resume.

Horribly coached on the 4th down play. The CB's gave the Raiders the sticks as soon as Carr snapped the football.

Bill is now 11-12 vs his assistants. That should not be possible.

At least Uche adds another sack to his total. If their going down, at least they can have the highest sacking tandem in the NFL.

Barmore doing his usual "I'm close to sacking him" routine. He really needs to step his game up the next couple of weeks.

They need to be coached?

You want Belichick to imagine he might do something like that, and tell him, BTW, don't do that if you consider doing it!

That would be the longest conversation in the history of mankind, because Bille would have to imagine all the other ways Jakobi can screw up.

"And by the way, if a bear runs across the field, run toward it, Jakobi, because everyone else will be running away. You may get eaten at the end, but chances are high that you'll score a touchdown first."
What a weird argument you're making.

I think stupid play reflects on the coaching. Odd you don't.

Are people actually mad at Mac for that lol

Who else do you blame? It isn't like any other Patriots player did anything wrong on that play. It clearly on Mac Jones. What you just going to blame a random player like Meyers? What did Meyers do wrong on that play, but I bet you want to blame him.

Why is it fitting?

You are manufacturing some BS circumstance.
Fitting? I said ironic. Mac's a quarterback, right? Chandler's a DE who's usually trying to tackle the quarterback. I don't think anyone would have guessed the final play comes down to the QB stopping the DE.

God I hope this entire staff is canned at the end of this year. That includes Bill, he’s lost it, he sucks vs old staff, new young coaches are getting the best of him, he’s lost IT!
