Unless they're basing it on intent - Mac knew he flicked the ball, other guy didn't necessarily have intent to injure Meyers...but even still, not even close to equatable.

I'm not sure I even understand what the fine is for. It's not clear that Mac even meant to flip the ball towards the player, you could easily argue he was just tossing it backwards. At worst it could be "delay of game."

The ball was flicked to the balls. That's probably the reason for the fine. Initially I thought "there's a ref in the area!!!" but it's clear as balls where the intended destination of the throw was. Kinda bush league on Mac's part.

Why is it bush league? He got slammed to the ground and was frustrated Trent Brown missed another block, shows a little fire, no? TB used to do stuff like that all the time and we loved it because it showed he was competitive.
