MNF 12/12 Pre-game thread: Pats @ Arizona

Mac Jones will look like Johnny Unitas and beat the Cardinals. All will be well again.

Why?

The Arizona Cardinals are 4 win Rummys and they have a losing record. Every Jones loss is vs a team with a winning record and the 2 games where he won were vs the Jets.

NE @ Jets consisted of 5 Nick Folks FGs and the NE defense setting up Mac at the Jets 5 yard line.
Jets @ NE consisted of a FG and a Marcus Jones punt return.

At this point we’re just playing out the string to see where our final draft position will be. That being said AZ is ass so the Pats will look like a competent team at least.

Ugh. A BSPN game? So I have to head out to watch this crappy team. Might just listen on the SXM radio.
Like other posters have mentioned, if this team has given up trying then its anyone's guess as to who wins. They looked terrible on Thursday. Maybe the vets help rally and get the team focused on the road?

Plus, the pick six called back and Wilson making mistakes trying to impress the milfs by playing “hero ball.”

More worried about our D than O on this one. Cousins picked us apart.

The game plan to beat NE is simple. The last 2 games are virtually the same.

1 - Stopping the Pats run game is job # 1. The Vikings stepped up and did a marvelous job shutting down NEs offensive strength which are the RBs. Vs the Bills, the Pats were already playing on 1 leg without Harris. Regardless, the Bills did not allow the Pats run game to flourish.

2 - Force Mac Jones to beat you. Weve seen the Bill Belichick Patriots do this to countless other hapless NFL QBs over the last 2 decades. Now, the tables have been turned and the view from this end aint pretty. The NE offense struggles to score and cannot sustain drives. The NE Punter gets plenty of practice and Bailey and Palardy are having bad seasons.

3 - The NE defense is continually back on the field. Hence, Time of Possession eventfully ends up being grossly in favor of the opponent thus wearing down the NE defense to dust.

Settling for 3 is better than nothing, but its still digging yourself a grave vs a powerful scoring team. There are too many Patriot wins to count where the other team settle for FGs while the Patriots scored TDs. Typically, when a defense holds another offense to 3 points its seen as a victory.

Cam won that game running to convert a 3rd and 13 and then taking a hit for a 15 yard penalty to put the Pats in FG range. Might have been a ticky tack call but it benefited us.

Another game we would've been better-off losing that year.

Since Alabama is one spot short of making the College Football Playoff, they can make Bill O’Brien an offer on December 31st after the Sugar Bowl ends lol

Considering the comments from Bourne after the game and Mac during the game... I'm intensely curious what is going on in the building this week.
So are you saying:
