No, because I don't think this team is a running QB away from contention. Those guys can get you over the hump if you got a defense ready for a Super Bowl run and a mildly competent offense that needs a spark.

They had two chances to draft him. Been saying this for years. Would have been fun to reinvent the offense with a running QB.

I would take 1 year of Tom Brady even with Patricia. I think for Mac sitting behind the goat and watch him operate for a year would do him good.

doesn't matter who you bring in or who you keep (and a huge no thank you to lamar under any circumstances) - if you don't fix the OL, especially the T position, this offense is going nowhere

LT was a turnstile last night......the revolving door at RT was no better......NO ONE will succeed until there's serious upgrade on the OL

and do what? Go 8-9? The offense isn't suited to have a 46 year old like Brady come in and fix things. He needs an OL and really good receivers. Look at Tampa - they are much better than NE in terms of talent on offense and they are still struggling. And both Patricia and Leftwhich are clown shows.

The only reason I think some folks on this forum want Brady back is to relive past glory years and worship Brady in a Pats uniform.

The comments of "keeping TB12 over Bill" are dumb.

If Tom was here they still would not have won a SB. It would be just another hamster wheel.

My current belief is at 70 Bill has slowed down in every aspect.

If a transition plan has not been laid out, it's time.

I'm concered about how they will spend in the offseason. They cannot f_uck this up.

I am also concerned they find a good OC.

If I hear the excuse of, "Well, Bill didn't hire xyz because he's afraid he'd leave after a year". I will lose my ****.

The future is now.

I just want him back to see you twist yourself up into a pretzel trying to figure out if you still hate him or love him enough to change your name back to TommyBrady12

Agree. Definitely old age showing up with bills decisionmaking now.

And I would be very cautious about making big free agent signings next year when everything is in flux. Bill could potentially create a scenario where we are stuxknwith no QB, no OC and bad contracts ( Jonnu, Henry, agholor) . Looped Henry as well because we just don't know how to use a TE . We are just overpaying for Henry's slight usage .

And this year top 2 drafts look pretty average for now.

There is no way Brady would sign up for QBing this team at 46... the offensive line is in total shambles and they have no legitimate weapons other than Rham

Brady isnt even having a good year in Tampa, who have similar OL issues but have way more talented skill position players and a better defense

oh and our OC is Matt Patricia, I bet Brady would get along swimmingly with him running the show

Paying two first round picks and making him the highest paid QBs in the league? No thank you.

The only reason the Ravens won’t tag him with the franchise tag is because they tagged him with the exclusive rights franchise tag. They will tag him and hope someone signs him to a contract that they will either match if they think it is a good contract or take the two first rounders.

I think their drafts have been OK. Not great but decent. Needs to be better though.

For a middling team we need stars .. bonafide stars. The fact that we haven't drafted any in the last 5 years is worrisome . Someone like Micah parsons

Give Brady $35M if we have to

Belichick, Mac Jones, get rid of Patricia and draft a top WR, LB, OL + CB

Also do we need Jay Z and male cheerleaders? No. God's laughing at you Kraft.

You’re Lamar. Would you go to the Pats?

Brady and Payton? If that were possible then Kraft should jump all over it. Payton means the end of Patricia so obviously that would solve the impossibility of Brady ever agreeing to work with him. Then after Brady and Payton work their magic for a couple of seasons, Payton can get Zappe ready for the next Patriots rendition. I like it.

We haven't drafted very high so you can't get that person w/o being in the top 10-15.

OMG MAC10 was TommyBrady12? I had no clue. Talk about serious emotional trauma.

@MAC10 - I hope you heal one day. If it makes you feel better, Brady did not leave you. He was made to leave. He still loves you!

Yes I'm fully aware most of these scenarios are unrealistic. I want to see what the board thinks.

You're the owner, and want one more run at a Super Bowl. Do you stick with the same and expect different results? Or make bold decisions?
Not many "running" SB winning QBs in the list, so I'm gonna pass on LamJ. I was very disappointed when the Pats didn't draft him, though, but no way I'd want to pay $50m per.
