I can show you plenty of video from other former QBs who will say the exact opposite. But hold onto a video

Patricia has been awful.

Why? Why not let someone else call plays and see if Jones can be salvaged from the disaster of Matt Patricia?
They have a mini-bye now. Something's gotta change. Playcalling has been bad overall. QB not as bad as some say but not great, either. I dunno. But clearly the current setup ain't working out and is not something to build on.

Pats were definitely beta'ed tonight

Why not find out for sure since we aren’t going to make the playoffs?
We aren't totally out of the playoff race, and I'm going to say this since this was the same as the Cam Stidham race.... when fans say "why don't we find out for sure" that means nothing. It's purely so fans can exhaust all options. They see these guys every day. They know who is good and who isn't and who is better. There is nothing to find out for them.

Unless you think the Patriots are dealing with a sunk cost fallacy situation like the Jets with Wilson, which seems unlikely.

The two slides before the first down markers the last two weeks have told me everything I need to know. This kid is soft.

I don't dismiss the possibility that, sans Matt, Mac might develop into something, but I don't see any EVIDENCE of this , at all, to date. I hear a lot of weepy commiseration with Mac's difficult circumstances. I'm looking for guy who can overcome circumstances. That's what a legit franchise qb can do.
They need WRs who can be playmakers. The only guys who really seem to care are Meyers and Henry. The rest of the guys feel like they're just going through the motions.

Yes, these playcalls are really bad and Patricia should be fired yesterday, but I can still see Mac’s severe limitations. His arm strength is just plain bad. It’s not average, it’s bad. Putting all his might into a 10 yard out is a terrible look. That’s not a NFL QB. His accuracy has been suspect as well, and that was his best trait last year. I’m pretty much one or two losses away from being completely done with Mac.

Dude they just had a bye and what changed? They’re still the same oathetic offense that can’t block or call clutch plays at all. Tell me please what a mini bye is going to do?

Nothing is going to change until the off-season, and like I said earlier, Matt will Once again be in charge of the offense. Bill isn’t firing his bff.

0-1 to start the picks contest. Great oogly-moogly.

Ian..great job tonight...Ross...thanks for all your cogent input...Ashley...you BIATCH!! Kept your mouth shut all game??? I KNOW what that means..."hell hath no fury!"...

After almost getting Meyers killed, Mac somehow thinks Henry is 12 ft tall and almost gets him killed.

Almost got Thornton killed a drive or two earlier as well

Thank you.

Time to rebuild I don’t hate Mac but compared to Allen he doesn’t deserve to be on the same field.

Positives

Marcus Jones on offense I’ve only called this since we drafted him fat Matt must lurk on here.

Tyquan Thornton making plays.
The fact it took til the 4th quarter is unacceptable to get him involved.
Stephensons tough running.

Negatives
Patricia’s play calling
Mac turning short yardage to negative plays.
Trent Browns Blocking and effort.
Stephensons Fumbling.
The fact we have to see Allen in this division.
The fact we didn’t out bid Buff for Diggs.

Matt Patricia’s play calling again.

They have made it clear that they believe in Jones. So the coaching needs to change. Patricia isn‘t going to be fired. They need to figure out a way to put the players in the right position to succeed.

Marty P getting dragged

We definitely missed the energy from @ashley tonight lol

They drop a couple more and that might just happen.
Hate to say it but the seasons over. We got @Cards, @Raiders, Cinci, Mia and @Bills. Minus Marcus Jones we're averaging like 8 points a game with a bottom 3-5 offense. We would need to go undefeated and have 3-4 other teams collapse.
