If we could play the Vikings D every week, this offense would be serviceable.

Arguably the worst passing defense in the league and 15 completions were either behind the los or within 5 yards. That game isn't the positive people think it is.

What a night! The old uniforms looked great, forced Buffalo into multiple punts, Thornton caught TWO passes in ONE game, Smith made a Red Zone catch, and we *almost* actually scored a touchdown in the Red Zone. We always did play our best after Thanksgiving!

The receiver might break a tackle and pick up the first down. Probably better odds of that.

But maybe Patricia could have called a better play that might have gotten someone open.

I never said that. But Zappe wouldn’t do any better with an o-line that can’t block even a little.

When has Brady ever had to overcome a bad circumstance with the OC? The goal is to get your guy and give him the support to maximize his strengths and shield his flaws. If Brady was in this exact same position with an idiot like Patricia running his offense each year, he wouldn't have won any Super Bowls either. We'd play the Rams in 2001 and he'd do some stupid draw plays to kill momentum.

Patricia literally doesn't understand how to get a QB in rhythm and doesn't understand game situations. Something Brady always had to his benefit.

I'm not even saying that to defend Mac. We could get rid of Mac for all I care and draft a top 5 QB in terms of talent and we'd still be wondering "hmmm why do all these drives stall out, why does the offense feel stop start".

A legit franchise QB would need to prove it with someone other than Matt, then get Matt and have his offense held back, but then have the credibility from prior success to get Matt fired

It's also the offensive line though.

24-10 is misleading for sure.

24-7 is misleading. We had one really good YAC play that carried that entire drive and got it in the endzone before we could screw up that drive as well.

Jones isn’t playing well, but I am not a yahoo who blames him for everything. The biggest problem tonight was the o-line that was the worst I have seen in years which is saying a lot.
