This game is frustrating in a whole different way than most of the games this year.
Suddenly the Pats offense is great, but they can’t get any pressure on cousins. The play action boot seems to be an automatic completion every time. The crossing route behind the line of scrimmage (I saw someone call it a submarine route) on a play action boot has resulted in multiple first downs.
We had em backed up on a 2nd and 15 then Bryant makes a very unnecessary late hit to the neck area of the receiver when the pass had no chance to get there. Dumb!
I don’t know what was wrong there. The receiver was going for the ball and the defender was tackling him. Was he supposed to avoid him and let him catch it and get up and run? It wasn’t head to head or anything.
