Pats only ran 22 plays in 1st half

Other than two mistakes, there was a lot to like about that hurry up on the last drive. Mac was very decisive and in command. We're seeing flashes of what we saw last year- the potential is there.

I will take being tied and getting the ball in the 2nd half.

That may be Mac’s best half of football of his Patriot career
It was very good. 12-15 (80%) for 148 and a TD. If he can stay at that level they’ll make the playoffs and have a chance. At least one of his incompletions was a drop and another was a spike.

Jones best half all season. TRUST HIM !

I want to know how we get “decisive Mac” all the time and not just sometimes.

And you trust the OL not to give up a sack and clock to expire?

take the 3
I equally do not trust Mac to throw the ball away / throw a pick and for the OL being a turnstile and giving up pressure in that situation. I feel like the coaching staff feels similarly.

We will see what happens when the pre-scripted plays run out.

That has nothing to do with the opening script which runs out after the first drive- what I'm talking about is KOC's keeping his offense in a quick tempo so our D can't do as much subbing of personnel groups as we want in, in our goal to give Cousins more looks than he can handle.

This has been a bizzaro first half and I’m really interested to see how the board is reacts to it.

For most of the season when the team wins by their defense a lot of people have said the story has been the poor play of Mac. Now Mac is having a great game but the defense hasn’t been able to stop the Vikings. I wonder if people will be happy with the offense or just complain about the defense instead.

Pats need to clean up the play action defense.

Would love to see some more runs to come out of the half. Pats rbs are averaging over 6 yards a carry.

He was still inside the OT box and close to LOS. He might not have wanted to give refs chance to call grounding or illegal fwd pass.
I don’t count that as burned timeout
That could possibly be what it was. I thought I saw an outlet receiver to his left that he could’ve just chucked the ball at his feet. Could be wrong though.

They need to make Cousins beat them without Jefferson, double him every play.
