Three huge mistakes in the final two minutes.

• Belichick not calling the time out immediately when the Vikes ran the ball and couldn’t in the end zone.
• Henry not going out of bounds to get an extra yard wasting a time out
• Jones not throwing it away wasting a time out

Bill also let the Vikings run in down to the 2 minute warning, a good 30 seconds. A time out is not worth 30 seconds.

I gaurantee they will throw a flag later in this game for pass interference or illegal contact/defensive holding that will be no where near as egregious as that one was.

Well, i was wrong. They actually went for it before the half. Can’t blame Matty for Henry getting tackled in bounds and Mac sliding instead of just getting rid of the ball. Maybe you can, idk. Awful awareness. Either way, came away with 3 and entering the half tied. We’ve got some good football here folks!

He was still inside the OT box and close to LOS. He might not have wanted to give refs chance to call grounding or illegal fwd pass.
I don’t count that as burned timeout

with only 3 sec left I would think a low bouncing kick would burn the whole clock

Mac is sharp.

If this is the Mac Jones we are going to get the rest of the season, win or lose tonight, the Pats are in the thick of the playoff hunt.

I'm happy and surprised to say he looks a lot better. The 3 incompletions were a drop, a spike and the final endzone shot.

Need to finish these drives though 2nd half.
