See what I mean, relentless. You're Johnny-One-Note. Do you have anything to add about any other subject pertaining to the Patriots?Mac stopped processing the game quickly. He just is horribly slow to see what the defense is doing
This. I'm critical of Mac, but people need to stop ignoring the holding penalties and inconsistent playcalling/play design. It's not helping.
I actually thought Mac wasn't bad today. Wasn't that good, took some bad sacks and probably should been able to do more given the field position, but it's not all on him. Some drops. No real bad pass I remember.
The two missed field goals are not Mac's fault.
The Jets' DL is >>> than our OL in its currently depleted state (or even if everyone was healthy). Very few QB's can cope with quick pressure up the middle like Mac saw on many plays, nor with first-and-20 like he often saw after the holds. The play-calling was conservative - but that is sensible given how well our defense was doing.
After reading this post, you'd never know we won today. The whole offense is a problem, the OL is bad the QB is bad and his confidence looks shot, the weapons are overpaid and underperforming, the playcalling is worse than the rest of it.
The whole thing needs looked at in the off season starting with the coaching, when one part of the O has a good day it's undermined by the others they're reshuffling deck chairs on the titanic at the minute.
It's not going to get much better this season it's going to just be getting to be getting as many wins as possible to put some lipstick on that pig because this team is going nowhere in 2022, it's ceiling is wildcard round loss.
I’m starting to like you.You seem mad. Are you going to be fine after today's result?
I thought Jones was decent today. I'd give him a "B"ish range. Yes, he did hold onto the ball on one or two of the sacks. But I think the red zone problems are to do with the play calling more than Jones.
I think that's a fair assessment. I thought when he had time, he made some good throws. I also think he held onto the ball too long on a few occasions. His numbers were good, kind of misleading, but he threw the ball well when given the opportunity.I thought Jones was decent today. I'd give him a "B"ish range. It's become ridiculousAn ugly win is better than a pretty loss any day. Reading some of these comments , one would think we lost. Yes we have a lot of things to work on but we are still 6-4 and I will take that all day over below .500. People should be more positive in this thread and be happy we won no matter how it happened !!!
He clearly wants Flacco..
They don't look like a top team.
They look like....the Vikings.
Often he held the ball too long and took a sack. Some of that is the Oline and some is him. He needs to be more aware of pressure and throw it away. We would have had one or more TD's if he threw the ball away instead of continuously losing yards with sacks.I think that's a fair assessment. I thought when he had time, he made some good throws. This idea that you should throw the ball away when you're in the pocket and about to get sacked always neglects the obvious: where are you going to throw it? You risk intentional grounding (which Wilson should've been flagged for in the end zone).I think that's a fair assessment. I thought when he had time, he made some good throws. It starts with Wilson. He's an entitled, arrogant punk who sucks as an NFL QB."Games we should win."
The Jets whole problem is that they disrespected the Patriots last game and said they were better and deserved the win.
They don't understand what is going on out there. They can't comprehend it.
This is a loser's mentality, which gos without saying
Sorry....No team with Cousins and a bottom 3rd D is a top 5ish team.they look that way because Dallas is just a realy good team. vikings are still a top 5ish team…
