Game Day Thread Official Post Game Thread- Pats beat the Jets

THIS IS OUR LIVE GAME DAY THREAD:

This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.

At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.

Didn't get to see the game today. Is the trouble on offense and the sacks a result of Mac holding the ball too long, poor OL play, or a combination? TB always had a quick release and knew when to throw the ball away.

Except when you take into consideration that those penalties were pretty much all BS. Especially when they refused to call the same things on the Jets OL.
Of course..the refs held back the potent patriot offense

Offensive line is a mess, ultimately will be their ending.

Nice to see them gut out a tough win though.

The center position is now critical. Thanksdad or Russey.

Neither. I'd rather have Strange there. If Wynn isn't hurt badly, put him at LG next to Trent.

That's a little overstated he's played two bottom of the league D's and the rest are around middle of the pack. Also, playing against Jones helps your D point totals

LOL! Those stats are ten weeks into the season. One game isn't going to skew the stats that much.

BS or not, it has been an issue all year. And when you start a sets of downs first and 15 or first and 20, the odds of you converting the downs go down quite a bit. Especially since Patricia seems to call plays that only picks up a few yards or no yards on first down.

Mac Jones QB rating for the last three games:
  1. Against JETS - 80
  2. Against Colts - 89
  3. Against JETS - 105
If we can now start punching the ball in the endzone we can get this offense back on track.

We are 6-4 and essentially control our own destiny in the division. I truly believe the only thing holding this team back from being a contender (maybe an outside contender) is Mac Jones. The time is now, Bill. Please, please, please do what’s best for the team.
I think one of the worst O lines in the league might be holding us back more than Jones. Plus you don't think Patrica is holding the team back?

That had to be the slowest first quarter I can remember.

TV time out, Injury time out, Jets punt & a Penalty, over & over, more TV time outs, refs huddle, TV time out.

Add in a couple of offenses, that would need a GPS to find the endzone & it was a long day.

Worth the wait, beating the Jets in the last seconds of the game is priceless

Its a little of both, Mac doesn't move well in the pocket and has to learn to throw the ball away when nothings there.

I'm not familiar with the earlier TB teams, but I don't think he ever had an O-line as bad as this. Our defense was amazing today!!!!
