Dam Little Nicky Caesar for not taking the Sauce ahead of the Jete.

I LOVED where Tariq Woolen & especially Jamaree Salyer were taken.

Looks like I've been wrong so far about Jack Jones... He's kept his mouth shut, his head straight, his ears open, and his mind right... He'll never be the biggest guy on the outside, but he clearly knows how to play the position & has good hands; his tackling is a work in progress for now, though sometimes he'll make a hit that you notice...

I thought Ja. Jones would be good...but not this good. Very happy to see how well it's worked out for him. People will always struggle with their fandom and Patriots draft picks...I get it....they weren't drafted exactly where you thought they should have. FU...sorry but not sorry. Cole Strange, Tyquan Thornton, Marcus Jones and Bailey Zappe were all very good picks...whether you can bring yourself to see that or not...not my problem. It was a good draft.

EDIT: this post is not directed to anyone specific

Bb interviewed jack jones a bunch of times predraft. Whatever jack jones put on tape, bb picked up on it and I am glad he did. I think jack could be a star in our defense if he keeps working hard and growing in route recognition!

He was a 2nd or 3rd rounder without the legal problems. Some scouts raved he had the best hips in the draft.

Maybe this is a stupid question, but why did Jack Jones go in the fourth while Marcus Jones went in the third, especially given the difference in height?

Also . . . this is Brenden Schooler erasure.

Potential to be a very good slot CB coupled with his return game.

He is currently #1 in KR avg and #3 in PR avg

Well that is a good question. Past legal troubles were an issue, no doubt about it.

But what did bb see on tape that all the draftniks and other gm’s missed. Did jack show great anticipation, superior positioning or just an ability to read routes really well? Whatever bb saw, he trusted and started doing a ton of due diligence on jack.

For all bb’s troubles with drafting defensive backs in the second round, he has an uncanny ability to spot a guy with a wart or two, take them on day 3 or in free agency and put them in position to excel despite the wart.

This is inaccurate, but he's certainly playing very well.

Show me where i'm inaccurate, literally 2 of the biggest football stats sites say so

So did you just pull that out of thin air to disagree?

NFL.com. You also didn't specify your criteria that they had to average "1.25" attempts per game. There are players a shade below in attempts, but have a higher average.

Yes. See above.
Wow, you really got us on a technicality. I guess Marcus Jones isn't one of the best return specialists in football and I actually feel bad about us having him now.

What potential! This kid's got a great shot for a year two ricochet!
