Having Kyle Dugger and Jabril Peppers out there is huge these last 2 weeks.

It allows us to flood the zones more since we can rely on these 2 to tackle.

It feels like it gives us an extra defender

Why is Zappe passing for 300 yard games with that oline then?

First, it was one game for 300 yards. There are no games. It is game. None of his other games did he pass for more than 188 yards. And if 300 yard games are some kind of measuring stick, Jones threw for 321 yards vs. the Ravens. Zappe and Jones have the same amount of 300 yard games. Not that 300 yard games mean anything in a vacuum.

Second, last time I checked, David Andrews didn't get concussed until the end of the Bears game. That means that Zappe had a different o-line than Jones has had the last two games.

It is one thing to not like Mac Jones and be hyper critical of him, but let's stick to actual facts.

Concerning to see what happened to Bourne too. Total 180 from last year.... trouble picking up the new system I guess? We are going to need someone other than Meyers , Rham, and Parker on offense.

Dugger didn't play last week. But I think he was a factor today even if he didn't show up all that much on the stat sheet.

Flutie and Murray both are very average to below average, you want them as your QB? Wilson was only good for a short period when he ran around - the Seahawks traded him because he is washed. You just proved the point. 6' tall QBs very very rarely turn out to be good.

Flutie was above average. Most people acknowledge that neither Chicago nor New England gave Flutie a fair shake when it came to being starting QB.

Do you understand how long Russell Wilson has been in the league already? This is his 11th season. He had 9 winning seasons prior to last year. 9 seasons is NOT a "short period".

This is only Kyler Murray's 4th season. He's a whopping 25 years old. You writing him off already when he's still growing and learning and the fact that AZ's O-line hasn't exactly been above average to this point in his career comes across as short-sighted. Kyler Murray is a very good QB. He's performed above average with VG receivers. This year has been weird because of Hopkins Suspension, getting Brown, and then losing Brown to injury.

Fran Tarkenton, Sonny Jorgenson, Joe Theisman, Len Dawson, Michael Vick. All were 6' or shorter. Jim McMahon (average) was 6'1.

Tua is 6'1. So is Jalen Hurts. Taylor Heinecke is listed at 6'1.

All that was proven is that you have arbitrary standards that are severally questionable.

Meyers has had fumble issues this year, but a 7 int to 4TD's almost halfway into the season is atrocious
Don't forget that 2 of the ints were off the hands of receivers.. Not really Jones'

Stevenson should have had another receiving TD and Thornton should have had 1 as well. Jones just sailed the ball over both of them.

I will say though that colts defense held the chiefs to 17 points so it wasn't like it was the lions d or something
And da Jete held the Bildos to 17 as well. Might mean something. Or nothing.

I think height is one of those things that'll help if you're plus in other areas but isn't a deal breaker either way (short or tall) I'm sure there's a cut off somewhere (again on the short and tall side) but I don't think an extra inch and half would suddenly make QB's see over a line.

I love Thornton. What are you talking about? I don't beat up on the guy.

I think you have me confused with someone else.

Pick on a single incident?

We're discussing a play.

Seriously, what is wrong with you?
I think he must be thinking of ME when it comes to Thornton. Love his "potential", but he hasn't shown me **** so far, though I'll rewatch the game tomorrow. He had what some might considered TWO drops today. Now its true both were throws at his knees, but the good WR's in the league make those catches. STILL not seeing any evidence of his "explosive" speed, or any great evidence he's getting separation, at least not the kind you expect of a guy with 4.2 speed.

Now I don't believe in making blanket statements so soon, especially since Thornton missed 6 week with the broken collar bone. He's a rookie who seems to be smart AND hardworking. Very few WR's come into the league and immediately become impactful. There are a LOT of good prospects who became very good WR's AFTER a few years of development.

Um..he's fumbled ONCE this year.

2-1 in the division there's an outside chance that we may be division winners with better offensive play calling/QB play/OLine play
Bills are not a guarantee to win the division.
