The rebuild is going backwards. Team is worse this year than last year.
1. Agholor for 3rd rounder
2. Bourne for 4th rounder
3. Wynn for 5th rounder
Patriots can not have enough draft picks at this point. They will not be AFC championship contenders for at least 3 years.
Benyley leads the Pats with 42. Tavai has 27.
I highly doubt Bourne is on the trading block. He is well liked in the locker room and picking things up slowly. Bourne will be here this year and next. Patriot type player on a value contract. A great find by BB.

When compiling a "pros and cons" list, I too value picking things up slowly...and picking things up slowly.
14 targets, 11 catches in 6 games with Thornton sidelined in 5 of those games.(Bourne) Patriot type player on a value contract. A great find by BB.
???? Are you one of those truth deniers. Get your head out of the sand. They are on track for last place in division. Pretend all you want toMove along, we don't have time for defective.
Talent is better this year than last year. The coaching staff is worse and the on field product reflects that.
I mean if you look overall at the roster wide receivers are better and everything else is pretty much the same. But why are we so much worse? No one wants to talk about the elephant in the room. Patricia/Judge vs. McDaniels
Agree that coaching is responsible for worse on field product, as well as other teams in division markedly improving. Looking at next 2 years, question is will Pats rank order in the division likely to change? I think probably not without much better qb play and coaching. If that is the case it's better to draft with 3 years down the road in mind...rather than wasting draft capital this year to get players whose contracts will be up in 1-2 years.Talent is better this year than last year. OL play is down and QB play is down. Somehow TE production is down too. And some of the key talent on D has been hurt.Talent is better this year than last year. The coaching staff is worse and the on field product reflects that.

I suppose you can blame some of the QB and OL play on coaching. But to say the talent is the same is just not accurate. I think the only unit better than last year right now is WR. CB is close.
Because defenders are bigger and more athletic in years past.TE play has been down the last few years. I am not sure why. Even the top TEs have underperformed the last two seasons.

Ertz, Andrews, Kelce, Higbee are all getting targeted though.Because defenders are bigger and more athletic in years past.
Look at the pedestrian stats George Kittle has this season.
Darren Waller has been a forgotten man.
Kyle Pitts is killing me in fantasy week after week.
If I’m the Patriots I try to unload Hunter Henry on some team.
Jonnu has shown blocking prowess and enough athleticism to warrant his spot.
I have noticed that Jonnu Smith is no slouch in the blocking department.Because defenders are bigger and more athletic in years past.

Really hope they don't Trade K Bourne unless it's for someone who can help immediately. He's cheap and under contract next year we haven't been good at Drafting WR's though Tyquan might have bucked that trend. It's very telling from his three snaps that the Coaching Staff is not high on Agholor anymore. I just can't see a Team trading for him based on the numbers that just don't justify his contract. That said I can see a Desperate Team needing OL help Trading for Wynn we won't be getting more than a Sixth Round back imo.Good article by Zack Cox regarding potential Pat players that may be traded:

I think teams are taking away the seam/middle and pushing receivers to the flats and boundaries more.
Harry was oven two other times and Justin Fields just didn't see him for what would have been huge 20 yard gains. Harry can thrive with RPO QB's who can find open WR's on broken plays. I think he's going to be alright in Chicago good for him.Lawyer Milloy agrees

N'Keal Harry agrees
Note: Harry's 1 rec/14 yds bested Henry, Jonnu, and Agholor on Sunday

Bourne's Patriots future is indeed bright
