Jeudy has a case of the drops. Gets separation but I’d rather someone reliable. If he could catch the ball, he’d be almost tailor made for Russell Wilson. Deep threat that gets separation. He just doesn’t bring it in. Someone like Sutton…. that’s ideal. Won’t get the same separation but he’ll make tough plays and haul it in and then try to get something post catch

The Pats rarely do what I want them to do, but it does feel like the team will make some trades before the deadline next week.
1. All the Pats who have been discussed in this thread were either out or playing decreased snaps behind a younger player.
2. Patriots have the least cap space on the team and probably won't have enough to operate in the rest of the season, this might indicate that they could be anticipating a trade that would clear some cap space.
3. Two of the positions the Pats might consider trading are a position of need for a lot of team (tackle and receiver).

As a fan I enjoy a sell of at the deadline, they give fans who follow bad/underperforming team future assets to be excited about. The NFL doesn't really do trade deadline moves to the same degree as the MLB or NBA but I would love to see this team move Bourne, Agholor, Wynn and Harris for picks, and/or backups at T, LB, and DT.

For all Wilson’s faults he’s a great deep bowl passer in this league. We can’t say that about our QB’s. Jeudy is also in year 3. We don’t need a WR we need to fix while working on young QB’s. We need guys they can rely on and have as safety nets and go to options

Is it really that hard to tell us who at NBC Sports said this, in addition to an actual quote? There’s no real value to the vague stuff this account does all the time. “NBC Sports“ could be local like Curran or Perry, national like Florio or Peter King, or somebody local for a different team. I don't want the Pats to be a buyer as they are currently constituted. If they move some of the guys rumored, I'm not against them turning some of that acquired draft capital into a player at a position of need that help balance the roster.
