Not a good look if Pats 4th round rookie has the best coverage grade after all that doom and gloom about not paying Jackson and Gilmore.

Who is it not a good look for?

It’s quite funny this board dismisses PFF unless they see a statistic they like to push their narrative.
i was told it's useless to use PFF rankings for offensive linemen but they were used in another thread to justify the assesment that brown is playing at an very good to elite level

Lies, damned lies, and statistics

You beat me to it.
Give someone the freedom to pick their own qualifiers and they can use stats to prove most anything they wish.

PFF is just like any other rating site that uses subjective humans to determine the success or failure on a play to determine if a player succeeded or not on a given play. Those people can sometimes only guess, given they don't know the calls, the assignments, or the rules that only those on the team would know.

These sites are good INDICATORS of how a player is doing on individual basis. I think they are fair to use by fans in promoting an OPINION of how a player is doing or in a comparison of one player or another. But please remember they are fallible and not PROOF of an opinion,

Galaxy Brain: Every player can be ranked #1 in some category with the right amount of qualifiers.

Jack Jones has been incredible. The Pick 6 vs Rodgers was a thing of beauty.

Its fair to mention that Denver is playing without a QB. Russell Wilson really looks bad.

Confirmation bias on steroids.

I see posters say PFF is garbage when there’s something negative about the Pats, then precedes to post a positive stat to try to win their internet argument.

Has Jack Jones been targeted 25+ times?

Nope. 24 times. Still kind of silly they use that as a qualifier. Not his fault QBs didn’t test him as much. They should use snaps instead.

So, NFL Network isn't lying.
They are simply using a highly referenced site as a reference.
PFF had to have some cut off. I don't know what that should be. 25 after 6 games seems pretty small, but I don't really know.
@JMC00 , you going to issue an apology?

Omg it’s a conspiracy.

PFF ratings are useless whether they're saying what you want to hear or not. Stop citing them as if they mean something, people!
