Report: Brady and Gisele are Divorcing

Pretty funny the low level of testosterone that both Bill "Gossip is my Life" Lee & Toolscribe exhibit in a football forum. These two gals have spent weeks gossiping about the personal life of Tom Brady instead of talking football. Like, who gives a f*ck about the personal lives of these players or coaches, or even the owners. So what if Krafty Bob likes to get rub & tugs. Who cares if Belichick was cheating on his wife with the secretary, breaking up marriages, and being an overall scumbag. He's still the Goat coach. Right? And he has both his sons working with him side by side on a daily basis. What a wonderful dad.

The moral outrage these gals pretend to have over Brady daring to care more about his career than his family is laughable. My old man used to say, a man's first duty is to be responsible and take care of his family. He was always working (when he wasn't out whoring) to give us a good life. Both his wives really appreciated his hard work. As did the brother & sister I later in life found out I had. Dad's are the best. I bet Brady's kids feel he's a terrible dad, always having fun and playing games instead of watching tv with them or tucking them into bed. Bad, bad Brady. He's a terrible dad (and husband).

OH come the F on. Your dad HAD to work to provide for his family, Tom and Giselle together were worth enough to think about buying a football team. Tom continues to play not to “provide for his family and give them a better life” (HOW could it exactly get better I wonder) but for his own ego. And if that’s what he has chosen, well, that’s his choice. In general, though he is currently hurting his legacy Both on and off the field. He’s no better than any of the other athlete superstars who just can’t or won’t be done. After 23 freakin’ years.

"Mommy, why isn't Daddy here?"
"He's at a celebrity golf tournament, sweetie"
"When will he be home, Mommy?"
"Your Daddy has a busy week coming up. Cheek bone reconstruction, hair tinting, R & R with Alex. Why don't you have Uncle AB tuck you in"
I don't know Uncle AB seems like he could be a lot of fun. Doesn't he have a hot air balloon?

It's the same crowd that has spent the last few years cheering for the Bucs that are now going after Bill and Kraft over Tom's marriage woes. Obviously one doesn't have to do with the other, but it's their knee jerk reaction to defend Tom in everything that is so amusing.

How the heck is he ruining his legacy on the field? He is having another solid season, he is adding to the records he already owns and I certainly wouldn't bet against him winning a playoff game or two come January.

For that matter, how is he hurting his legacy off the field? The guy is getting divorced. It happens. It's really not a big deal and he is hardly the first (or last) person in the NFL to do so. (Is this something people really keep track of?) You would have a point if, for example, he was a deadbeat or abusive but nothing like that is even remotely happening.

It is hilarious how much time people like you have spent criticizing Brady for the very thing that made him the Greatest of All Time, and that is his single minded dedication to the sport of football. Some people will just never understand.

Perhaps if you were just as dedicated as he was you could have been successful in life. Instead you are just worshipping the success of another man.

Yep, guaranteed that's completely fabricated.
My favorite part is the quote that says "Tom has been having so much fun this season..."

Says the guy who took his screen name from a line of feminine hygiene products. They should have called it Vagicol -- in your honor, of course.

Hmm, formatting has gotten wonky, resorting to old-school formatting...

You do! You proved it when you clicked on this thread. If you didn't give a bleep, you would have moved on to a different thread.

Let's see, you say you don't care, but you know all kinds of intimate allegations about those two guys, which proves you do care. Got it.

The moral outrage these gals pretend to have over Brady daring to care more about his career than his family is laughable.

I for one haven't vented moral outrage. I've expressed sadness for his kids, but that would be the case no matter who was getting divorced or what the reason was.

That's not a bet, that's you projecting your world view onto others.

You are one confusing person! You say you don't care about this topic, but you clearly have read been tracking it all the time across 48 pages and are an active participant. You use "gal" as an insult which is somewhat misogynistic, but the handle you picked is for a feminine hygiene product. You may as well have just called yourself 'douche'. You praise your dad for working hard enough to be able to pay whores and support a hidden second family, yet you suggest you understand what is going on in Brady's kid's heads.

If this userid is all an ongoing troll job, my complements to you! It's one of the better ones I've seen, and I've been an active Internet user since the 1980s!

This is an incredibly asinine post. I don't want to get into the off field stuff, because for the most part I just don't care, but how is Brady hurting his legacy there? Because he's getting divorced? Not uncommon. And it's entirely ridiculous all of the wheel-spinning as to why their marriage crumbled... bottom line is only two people really know what happened in their relationship and I'll guarantee you that even their own individual perspectives aren't the same so I'm certainly not going to give any credence to public speculation. It's just a feeding frenzy for all of the haters to spin it in an unfavorable light for Brady, which frankly is pathetic.

The on field knock to his legacy is even more ridiculous. Brady has been wildly successful in a Bucs uniform. Won a Super Bowl. NFL MVP runner-up. 96 TD passes in 2020 and 2021. This season he's top 5 in multiple passing categories. He's not having a bad season at all. It's week 7. This happens almost every season since around 2014... the detractors start throwing dirt on Brady's grave in September and October if things aren't going perfectly. He proves them wrong every single time and yet they keep coming back for more. So stick with your take... Brady's washed and he's hurting his legacy... and we'll see how it holds by the end of the season. I'm guessing not well.

Yes, to me that's the interesting thing in this case, the choice he made. From what we know from the outside looking in, he got himself to the point of agreeing to retire to dedicate more time to the family, but he just couldn't follow through on it. He himself admits he wanted to dedicate more time to the family, but his competitive urges overwhelmed his other desires. It's a pretty frank admission, one we don't often see. Complements to him for being so open. Gisele echoed similar feelings, "I have definitely had those conversations with him over and over again, but ultimately, I feel that everybody has to make a decision that works for [them]. He needs to follow his joy, too.". It seems the drama is over. Lawyers have been engaged, property is on the market.

In general, though he is currently hurting his legacy Both on and off the field. He’s no better than any of the other athlete superstars who just can’t or won’t be done. After 23 freakin’ years.
She apparently feels he's done all one can do in the game of football and needs to be there for his family rather than just adding to the record books, he feels he just can't suppress his competitive urges and has to go back onto the field to "follow his joy". In my own personal opinion, he simply is so focused on football that he missed his opportunity to keep his family together, and he'll regret that later. At some point your legacy becomes your family not your career. He's had a great career, the greatest of all time, but just can't seem to let go. I feel that at some point he'll be like Joe Montana finding himself on the bench in a place like Kansas City wondering why he made some of the decisions he's now making. A 45 year old dude out clubbing with 20 year olds already is strange, it won't get better as he gets older.

Shall we revisit your prediction at the beginning of the year?

Brady will have another pro bowl season (his record 16th) and be in the MVP conversation (but won't win it). Currently the WR and TE depth isn't as good as it was the last two seasons. A lot will depend on the recovery of Godwin and how well Gage fits into the WR3 spot. They could still add a veteran WR and/or TE with several interesting names still available. They should get decent production from their RBs in the passing game and running game (although their running is probably screwed if Fournette gets injured). They lost both starting guards from last season but acquired Shaq Mason, drafted Luke Goedeke, and will be promoting Aaron Stinnie as a starter. They have pro bowl calibers starting tackles. They should have a lower top10-ish defense.

Prediction for Brady’s number...

4930 yards
38 TD
9 INT

Probably going to be Brady's last season and he'll go out still playing at an elite level. It's amazing how his detractors continue to doubt him and try to diminish his accomplishments as now a mid-40-year-old quarterback.

He's not even close to playing at an elite level. As I said before over the last two years, unless he's got a full slate of weapons at WR and TE he's not going to do much and he'll look very much like 2019 Brady.

It's kinda strange, people who say they're here for the football and aren't into gossiping ARE intensively monitoring this thread and ARE into gossiping about people who post to this thread. They could just click on other threads or use the various 'ignore' functions, but nope, this one has their full attention.

Bullsh*t!! He never retired. He tried to weasel his way out of Tampa Bay because he had a sweat deal waiting for him in Miami. He was done with the Bucs, wanted out, and had another opportunity elsewhere but he was bound by contract to Tampa Bay for the 2022 season. The fake "retirement" was just a ploy on his part to get the Bucs to commit to another quarterback but they didn't and instead they acted at least as though they were going with Gabbert or Trask. Tampa Bay wasn't willing to let Brady go elsewhere so he was stuck and once he realized that he "unretired" with likely the added incentive of Arians stepping aside (to permit Brady more control over the offense).

This notion that Brady was "retiring" to dedicate more time to his family is utter nonsense. So too is the notion that he chose football over keeping his family together. Like realistically those were ever the only two options... continue your football career or retire and keep your family together. If you think their marriage hinged on that one decision - to play or not to play - then you're naïve.

Brady's play over the remainder of the season will shut you up. Or at least divert you to your next stupid idea.

We don't even remotely "know" any of that. You're trying to pass your weak speculation as being generally accepted.
At some point your legacy becomes your family not your career.
Yeah. Sure.

Get back to me when a million people throw a parade for an athlete who gets married or has kids.
I feel that at some point he'll be like Joe Montana finding himself on the bench in a place like Kansas City
whuh whuh huh....? Joe Montana had injuries he dealt with, but was never "on the bench" during his stint in KC.

Those thirsty 20 year olds will be lining up around the block.

We have his own words about retiring via his announcement, and now we have his own words about him not being able to follow through on it:

“I almost look at like a football season like you’re going away on deployment in the military, and it’s like, man, here I go again,” Brady said. “There’s only one way to do it. And I think Jim, we’ve talked from time to time just about how do you enjoy the certain moments of it? The reality is you can really only be authentic to yourself, right? Whenever you may say, ‘Oh man, I want to, you know, make sure I spend a little more time doing this.’ When it comes down to it, your competitiveness takes over and as much as you want to have this playful balance with the work balance, you’re going to end up doing exactly what you’ve always done, which is why you are who you are. You’re going to go, ‘how do I get it done?’ You know, ‘what do I got to do to get it done?’”

Get back to me when having a parade is more important in the long term than having a strong marriage and happy, well-adjusted kids.

Nice that you project that Tom will never be injured and never end up on a bench, but I can see that happening.

Just like they do for all kinds of freak shows or circus acts. As PT Barnum said, there's a fool born every minute.

Even if you ignore the thread, it keeps popping up and you’re still notified that someone quoted you. I don’t tend to ignore a thread or ignore a person, though, because you never know when a useful nugget of info will pop up. If this post was to get me to stop picking on you, it didn’t work.

This is post #79 for you.

Post 80. Impressive. You may catch Pork, who definitely will not be doing anything outside anytime soon.

Those words don't even remotely say what you are interpreting them as saying.
Get back to me when having a parade is more important in the long term than having a strong marriage and happy, well-adjusted kids.
Newsflash: You can get divorced and still have happy, well adjusted kids. And you can be happy and lead a fulfilling life without being married.

BTW, you don't give 2 sh*ts about Brady's kids. You just use them as a pathetic excuse to attack the guy. And we both know it.
Nice that you project that Tom will never be injured and never end up on a bench, but I can see that happening.
Any player can get injured but it is no more likely for Brady than any other QB - and, quite honestly, much less likely if we look at his history.
Just like they do for all kinds of freak shows or circus acts. As PT Barnum said, there's a fool born every minute.
Yeah, great analogy. Comparing women's interest in Tom Brady to a "freak show or circus act". What in the world could an adult woman possibly see in a guy who is intelligent, ultra-rich, ultra-successful, handsome and in great shape...? He's just a freak show!!

Seriously... keep making a fool of yourself here. I rather enjoy it.
