Report: Brady and Gisele are Divorcing

That wasn't a two-way street, more a case of Favre being a perv. Sterger looked like his wife, that's when he was with the Jete. How Favre's own marriage has survived his shenanigans is another untold soap opera.
Yep. Favre is a slime. She was def harassed. Jets paid her $$$ to be quiet. So did Bret.

Deanna Favre just looks the other way. No question.

According to Bill Lee, it was just a coincidence that she liked a IG post about marriage....
Since this is "according to me" please show where I said "it was just a coincidence that she liked a IG post about marriage", or admit you're pulling stuff out your azz.

You're all over the place here. First you seem critical of the notion that she demanded he retire....
Yes, I pushed back on the notion that she demanded he retire, for the reasons you suggest below, and because we have no evidence of such a demand being made, instead we have a statement with her saying he should "follow his joy".

then you paint a picture where him un-retiring is the main cause of the separation/divorce. I mean, which is it?
Why is it so hard to see that if the partners make a major life decision together, then make public announcements of that decision, then one partner unilaterally goes back on that decision and also publicly announces that, that there will be a major break down in that relationship?

Obviously, they are both adults. Neither can demand anything of the other. What they can do, however, is decide they are not willing to stay in the relationship if they have to make certain concessions.
And the evidence we have says it is Gisele deciding to leave the relationship mainly because TB12 has not been "present" enough for the family, whereas Tom has been trying to patch things up, apparently not to her satisfaction so far.

Re-reading those comments by Gisele, it seems kind of odd she was so willing to publicly air those feelings. It kind of gives an "after-the-fact" vibe that the marriage is finito.
I agree. The timing supports that too. It was September, after the 11 day family vacation that Tom took off from training camp, during the time they were no longer living together. It is as if they went on vacation and the end result was that they just could not resolve their issues. Later we got the story that she had been talking to divorce lawyers "for weeks" and had taken off her wedding ring. It feels like the score is 28-3 and Tommy had best start delivering a high grade performance or it is indeed finito.

Seems like the Falcons won and Tom is already preparing for next season

...and the Page 6 narrative is "Friends are upset Tom won't bend to Gisele"

Seems at this point Tom doesn't see the need.

Yeah. He will be in Miami next year on a 2 year deal IMO.

You may be right.

Gisele's inner circle says she's tired of being a "football widow", which is some pretty harsh, negative language.

This same source is the one that says Tom made the unilateral decision to un-retire. It also suggests the marriage is not over, but it was published in mid September.

Now, that would be entertaining!

Tommy would be cherry picking teams whose windows are just opening.

Great strategy for him, IMO.

The FOX job can wait.

It'd put a lot of heat on BB to push in all the chips for next season.

Bring it on!

If that was really true, they would have split years ago.

Her not wanting Tom to play until he is decrepit seems more realistic.

Not necessarily. She hung on as long as she could deal with it. People stay in marriages out of convenience or apathy all the time.

Perhaps. I just think if she truly felt like a "football widow" and he was that absent mentally even when not playing then she would have left a long time ago. But you are right. People to try to hang on as long as possible. Him retiring and unretiring in only 40 days had to be like a hot knife in her heart though.

If you take that point of view, they wouldn't even have married, since even then it was obvious he was going to be playing for several more years.

What the article says is:

"She's told him that he's the GOAT, and he has absolutely nothing left to prove. He could be going out on top, and playing until the wheels fall off doesn't seem to be the way to go out on top."

Also, from another report:

"From a family standpoint, these are critical years," says the source. "The kids are getting older, Ben is 12 now, and Gisele feels like Tom needs to be home."

Source: Gisele Bündchen Feels Like Tom Brady 'Needs to Be Home' for Kids: Source

So, there definitely is an element of time to it. She feels he's already the GOAT, there's no more need to prove anything else, and now's the time to help her with the kids as they go through their teen years. He seems to think she'd eventually come around and support his decision to keep playing, but it seems he miscalculated on that.

From her point of view, there's no more upside to keep playing, and lots of downside (risk of injury with life changing effects, children being raised with inadequate parental guidance). Also there is the little thing that she too would like to have a career but her need to be the full time parent is preventing that from happening.

From his point of view I presume he feels football and the thrill of competition is what gets him out of bed in the morning, and he wants to milk every last down out of his career, and feels his wife should support him on that, but he and his camp has said very little.

Her not wanting Tom to play until he is decrepit seems more realistic.

Yes, that's what the title of the article I posted earlier suggests, as do the comments I've quoted above.

Yet another article says:

"Gisele has been telling Tom for a while he needs to spend more time with the family and after he retired, she thought she was getting what she asked for," the source said. "Once Tom decided to go back to the NFL she was devastated. Gisele is very hurt."

Note the use of "asked" instead of "demanded" as some here suggest.

A second source tells ET, "Gisele is upset with Tom and wants some space right now. She is getting pushed to her limit. She has always supported Tom and has been there for him, but she is over it. She doesn't think Tom has been himself lately."

Yep. Could be she feels Tom places a higher priority on spending time on anything to do with football than her. Hes essentially a workaholic/has football OCD. Seems like Tom has made efforts in this area but have been measured fall short of what she wants/needs out of a marriage.

In other words..

You're just guessing, and I do not believe that is how things played out.
And the evidence we have says it is Gisele deciding to leave the relationship mainly because TB12 has not been "present" enough for the family, whereas Tom has been trying to patch things up, apparently not to her satisfaction so far.
If him retiring wasn't enough to satisfy her, then I don't blame him for going back to the game.

He retired to save the marriage, but it didn't save the marriage so he said screw it, I may as well keep playing.

I'm at least providing quotes and links to media reports, you are not.

We don't know why Tom went back on his decision to retire, he and his camp are totally silent on that.

I have seen no media reports suggesting Tom decided months ago the marriage could not be saved.

Feel free to provide corroboration, if you can.
