Report: Brady and Gisele are Divorcing

Give it another two seasons of Patriot mediocrity where we’re stuck in a Ryan Tannehill “he’s ok but not great...do we risk dumping him?” situation with Mac and the anti-Brady trolls are gonna go full Damnatio memoriae about Brady and tell tales of how the Patriots won 6 Super Bowls with 6 different starting QBs.

I am just telling you what Bill has said. The MOAT was not even a first team all pro until 2007. His super bowls during the dynasty years were mainly the result of the defense. And I won’t allow you to derail this thread, so if you’d like to talk about this further we can discuss this elsewhere.
Lol. Very noble of you.

Sorry, Bill himself said that Brady did not become elite until 2007.
When did he say that? Sounds like you're making it up or embellishing. Brady was a hall of famer after the 2004 season.

At the time they started dating Brady was a B-grade quarterback. Remember, he did not become an elite one until 2007 with the addition of Moss and Welker and then all of a sudden Gisele was interested in him. So yes, I do think that Brady probably dated her merely because she was a super model and that was exciting to him. Around that time he became rather arrogant too (laughing at Plaxico prior to the super bowl, telling Gisele's ex BF he makes more money in one day than he did an entire lifetime, etc). Brady became a different person - a celebrity QB, the kind which Bill does not like.
Sorry, Bill himself said that Brady did not become elite until 2007. Brady did not even win an MVP until 2007 and was not even a MVP runner up from 2001-2006. Thankfully, hockey season is right around the corner for you and you can stop commenting on our sport.

Brady was clearly in the elite category during the 2004 season and arguably the biggest name in the NFL. 2002 he led many comebacks with that terrible defense and led the NFL in TD passes. 2003 was a weird/ugly season for Tom, but came through when it mattered and matched every shootout aside from week 1. Corey Dillon put the offense over the top in 2004 and Brady's game went to another level. 2007 he went into God mode.

Agree. That was talked about quite a bit by analysts.
Bridget was pretty, but she was a B-grade actress and a party girl. Gisele was the most famous and best-paid supermodel on the planet and traveled in the highest social circles. She was a big step up from Bridget in many ways.
I think you might be mixing her up with Tara Reid. Bridget was pretty private and not seen much in public until she started dating Tom. But yes, getting set up with the most famous supermodel in history would be tough to turn down.

Pats OFFENSE vs DEFENSE 2001-2005 (based on DVOA (weight adjusted rankings)) - ranking widely accepted in NFL circles

2001
Offense - 11th
Defense - 13th

2002
Offense - 9th
Defense - 15th

2003
Offense - 14th
Defense - 2nd

2004
Offense - 3rd
Defense - 6th

2005
Offense - 7th
Defense - 28th

looks like Brady carried them to rings and Belichick couldnt do it when he needed to (2003*)

NFL 2000-2009 All Decade Team
QB First Team: Tom Brady
QB Second Team: Peyton Manning

Once again you lose Timmy

Sorry, he did not make first team all pro from 2001-2006, which is a yearly award. Him being all decade does not disprove what I said. If anything it only underscores that Brady did not become elite until 2007.
Considering Manning had 49 TDs in 2004 and was over 30 TDs in 4 other years in the decade I’d say that Tom’s SBs and playoff performances from 2001-2004 meant a lot in him being named first team QB for the 00’s All Decade Team.

Nice try Timmy, take the L like usual.

You don’t seem to understand the difference between being a yearly member of the All Pro Team vs All Decade. I never once said Brady wasn’t All Decade from 2001-2009.

In 2004 Terry Bradshaw said about Brady, " He's already in the Hall of Fame, Now he just needs a career! You hypocrite, you repeatedly think you have a drop the mic moment by crediting Brady for giving Eli Manning a likely HOF enshrinement for 2 SBs but 3 for Brady is a B quarterback in your eyes. Anyone here agree with Mac10?

No, you said something even dumber, you said he was a B-grade QB until 2007.

As hard as it may be, step away from the thread, and try to find yourself some company for this Saturday night Timmy.

I'm seriously starting to get concerned with Mac10. When Zappe wins tomorrow, there'll be a QB controversy in Foxboro.

Mac10 (Timmy) has already given up on Mac.

His predicament is: does he switch to Zappe4 or does he play it slow. Poor dude.

No, you said something even dumber, you said he was a B-grade QB until 2007.

Then what does him being all decade have anything to do with what i said? If the decade ended in 2006, Brady would not have been all decade considering the fact he wasn’t even an All Pro from 2001-2006. It would have gone to Manning.

At least Timmy will always have his McD ffs.
