Report: Brady and Gisele are Divorcing

Bill Belichick is still with the Patriots after 22 plus years. Brady was with the Patriots for 20 years. Both had marriages fail/failing in their mid 40s. So of course the two situations seem similar. Team Tom and Team Bill both feel uncomfortable acknowledging their guy is being judged. As far as I'm concerned neither guy should get a pass.

Bill has been divorced for nearly 30 years. What does any of that has to do with Brady’s situation? We all knew BB was a dirtbag in his personal life before he came to NE. Again you detailed this thread because you are so insecure about Brady

So when he leaves the patriots you’ll no longer support him?
TB12 is very easy to support and I do. His success is not a zero sum game with the Patriots except for the one time the teams met a year ago.

The coach is different. I don't think there's one Patriots fan who will "support" BB when he's not our coach anymore. How do you support a coach who is retired or with another team. I didn't cheer for Pete or Tuna after they left. I doubt Cowboys fans cheered on JJ when he was a Dolphin and when they see him on TV today or the Steelers fans and Cowher.

Very few people followed Jordan to the Wizards or Montana to the Chiefs when they left their teams. Lebron is a better, more modern, day example. Only idiots would follow him from the Cavs to the Heat back to the Cavs again and finally to the Lakers.

The main Timmy thread is already at 222 pages and it's only been 4 weeks into the regular season.

We certainly won't follow him to his new team and start a mega thread like some folks who tend to do that sort of thing...

They are very similar situations. Both the men are the face of the Patriots. I've talked a lot about Brady and his workaholic, not home for the kids and wife. You have blamed him over and over again. Its his fault. You live to criticiize him. No, Belichick's divorce has nothing to do with Brady's mess and vice versa, but their situations are similar. Of course its going to be brought up. But you get the same extra spring in your step every time Brady throws and interception or has some personal trouble. You can't wait to jump all over it.Then you poke your head in the sand, cover you ears and your eyes when its uncomfortable for you to talk about someone else with the same kind of history. Double standard.

Take away your trolling and it would be many pages shorter

i choose not to idolize Brady. And yes, I have been critical of Belichick for not drafting Lamar or even trading Brady for the right to draft Mahomes. We don't know why Bill got divorced - could be because of his affair, etc. But we have a good feeling that Brady's getting divorced because of his continued desire to put football over family. That deserves criticism.

Um, I've been banned from that thread for months...actually it's mainly Deus who is driving that thread with his daily "Bucs signed this player" or "Bucs are expecting player X to return from injury" posts, etc.

Team Tom gets uncomfortable when recent events cause the flaws of their man to be so evident, so they dig something up from the 1980s and start the whaddaboutism.

We don't know everything, but we do know a lot about what is going on in the Brady situation, because they themselves are telling us. Tom told us he wanted to play to 45, checkmark. Tom told us he was retiring to spend more time on other things, presumably family, since he admitted she has complained in the past he hasn't been doing his part. Tom then told us he was not retiring 44 days later. Captain Obvious himself can see what the bone of contention is. Giesle gave interviews saying he was concerned about the risks of injury and his lack of presence. These were direct quotes from her in People Magazine. Tom took an extra 11 days away from the team during training camp saying "a lot of s--t is going on" and now takes an extra day off a week. Giselle is being seen in public not wearing a wedding ring. Neither has confirmed they have hired lawyers, but neither has denied it either.

It's strange you say no one really knows what is happening in the Brady household except via news reports, yet are happy to trot out a bunch of stuff from the Belichick family from decades ago that we only know about via news reports. If there was a BB presser on it, I must have missed that one. Therefore, by your standard we don't know what went down in the Belichick household decades ago, yet you ran with it anyway.

I agree.

I don't see grounds for fault/blame, but I think it's pretty clear what the bone of contention is. The bread crumbs go back as far as 2020 if not further.

The fact is you don't know shyt about what is going on in their relationship, despite your belief that you do. You're just here to troll Brady. That's fine, it's what you do.

Belichick continued footbsll during his messy marriage just as Intensely as he always had. We would have heard about him it he hadn't. Stop talking like a politician regarding Belichick. Its okay to not idolize Brady but that doesn't describe you very well. You seek out negative Brady things. You repeat them over and over again. You sneak them in all kinds of unrelated threads. You are a self admitted Brady troll. Don't try and hide behind you simply don't idolize him.

yes, but was football the reason behind Bill’s divorce? we don’t know.

You guys have turned yet another thread into Bill v Tom. Unbelievable.

Seriously. They have nothing to do with each other. This is all about Tom & Gisele.

Parcells also got divorced. Let's talk about that as well. Kim and Kanye anyone?
These chuckleheads ruin every thread.

Was listening to Zo and he spoke a bit about it. He chose his words carefully and didn’t say much, but he did say he’s heard she’s hard to live with.

I think this goes well beyond football. Maybe Brady came back when he realized his marriage was going under anyways. This has likely been brewing for a very long time.

I've identified the culprit in derailing this thread into BB vs Tom...@PatsWSB47.

You're right. I guess when you're more married to your job than your wife and family it can take its toll on the family. Add in infidelity and disloyalty and its it pratically hopeless. And you're right once you get past your early 30s then it adds even more pressure. When you're in your mid 40s, married to your job and cheat on your wife it can be devastating and separation and divorce is right around the corner . Let's see......who comes to mind? Oh I know. Bill Belichick

What does Belichick have to do with this thread, troll?

He has also said he would keep playing until he sucked.

Sometimes people say things about their future plans but when they get to the future, they change their mind. There's nothing wrong with that at all. Even Belichick, who once scoffed at the idea of coaching into his 70's, changed his mind. As I said, there's nothing wrong with that.
Tom told us he was retiring to spend more time on other things, presumably family, since he admitted she has complained in the past he hasn't been doing his part. Tom then told us he was not retiring 44 days later.
My theory - which I gladly admit not everyone shares but some people are on board with it - is that part of the decisioning behind his retirement was to help try to save the marriage but when it became clear the marriage was beyond saving he said "screw that, I may as well keep playing."

Neither Brady nor Belichick are alone in being highly driven, very successful men whose marriages suffered as a result of their careers. There are a lot of such men out there. Unless something criminal is actually happening (which is not the case for either of those men) then I am not going to tell others how they should live their lives.

I can believe that. I can also believe Tom may have his quirks, mood swings, etc. I think every couple does. The question is it enough to destroy a marriage.

I think you hit the nail on the head. He saw the end and he was like f- it, he might as well play football as he believed it isn't the root cause anyway.

Is it a stretch to think TB might be Zo's source? One would think they have a relationship of some type and he would have knowledge about personal stuff, and he could have know for years what their marriage is kinda like. You'd think at the very least he would have access to guys in Tom's inner circle (Jules, Danny A, Gronk) who would know what the deal is.

Think about the people you know in your life. Who has rock sold marriages, and who doesn't? Which one of your buddies is married to a raging b!tch? Which one is a miserable pr!ck? Who has a couple drinks playing golf and can't keep his d!ck in his pants? Which buddy's wife has too much wine and can't keep her legs closed? We all know which couples in our lives are struggling and which aren't. Zo might be in that spot with the Bradys.
