Report: Brady and Gisele are Divorcing

My wife wanted to have our vows state we'd be together for eternity or whatever...

I refused and told her one lifetime is enough, i have no idea what's after death and need to keep my options open

True story
I think you were being considerate. What if you go to hell or purgatory? Any thoughtful husband would want his wife to have as good of an afterlife as possible.

45 years in December. We got lucky. I know of a few others also.

Must be something to those December weddings. I remember thinking at the time, 'Hey this'll be good, if I ever forget our anniversary odds are good I'll have a present in the house anyway.' My luck's been holding though, I managed to remember the last 46 so chances are pretty good I'll be ready this year too,

Y'all are making me feel like I'm in the middle of my courtship. I got her digits. Do I wait 3 days to call or call next day?

(20 yrs together - a little more than half that married - My wife says I have love goggles but to me anyone else would be a massive downgrade.)

In my day we sent a text rock on the second day. OFC the mammoths that carried them were kinda slow, they took so long to get there oftentimes she'd already been consumed by a saber tooth

Hahaha there's people in this thread that has been married longer than my wife and I have been alive. That's crazy.

Kitchen conversation with my wife this morning as she was making toast:

Her: "I didn't sleep well at all last night."

Me: "Why?"

Her: "My mind wouldn't stop."

Me: "That's weird, it stops all the time during the day."

Long silent pause ...

Me: "You didn't think that was funny?"

Her: "What?"

Me: "What I just said."

Her: "No."
This reminds me of a joke that Mrs. Rover is not fond of... but she does acknowledge the kernel of truth within...

Q: How long you two been married?

A: 29 wonderful years....

36 total.

I'm glad we agree that family comes first.

What kind of concessions should the family make? Seeing your dad and husband occasionally, not seeing him on holidays, birthdays etc. Do you think you're qualified to determine what the concessions should be? Isn't marriage and any relationship about communication and compromise?

Isn't 20 years of "concessions" enough? It's not like Giselle has been dealing with this for a year or two...it's over 20 years. I think she has conceded quite a lot already.
You don’t marry someone expecting them to change for you. You marry them for the person they are and accept them for it.

Many marriages fail because one or both spouses expected the other to change. It's unreasonable

Wow. I wonder if Brady's divorce had anything to do with prompting Beasley and his wife to rethink things and come to this conclusion.
When did Brady get divorced?

It's in process, didn't you get the news? Here, check out this thread at Patsfans.com:

Interesting timing. I'll assume its a coincidence.
Yea, he looked up at:

Mike Evans
Chris Godwin
Julio Jones
Russell Gage

All getting health in the WR depth chart, realized he'd lost a step and called it a career. No different than what Eric Decker did in NE that offseason. The rest is BS.

Send me the link when it actually happens. Many people change their minds before going through with it.

No, you try following the news yourself, it's not that difficult.

Giselle let Tom be the head of the family ...
She was more than willing to be the neck .... kids and stuff.
However recently ... the message was sent ...
you cannot move the head without the neck.

Just saying .... for a friend.
