I am not sure why the team allowed Montgomery to play on Sunday. Now he needs at least 4 weeks to recover...had they held him out even one week...it would have been 23 days between games to rest (a little more than 3 weeks).

Alright Mac is Tough!

I was surprised to see him on Sunday too obviously they like him better than the others on Third Downs. It's going to be very interesting on Sunday and on Third Downs going forward.

I like Montgomery...but I am dying to see Rham have 5-6 targets in the flat....those are almost certain to be 6-7+ yard plays...

Let's hope Bill has a better plan against Trubisky who laughably had over 400 yards and 3 TD's on offense while allowing 31 points in their 2018 matchup. Him also jogging around the field for 81 rushing yards was ridiculous to watch.

Pats need to establish the ground game and set up play action passes. If they show obvious passing plays out of the shotgun, Flores is brining the heat.

Yeah guys like Parker and Meyers need the playaction surprise to spring loose. We gotta have better play designs to get some of these guys open our Committee OC's have their work cut out for them.

Mac racing Fat Matt at the start or drills where to the buffet line?? Must have been a dead heat.

Always cracks me up to see #FireTomlin is usually trending when the Steelers lose.

Mitch is one of those guys who excell when the play breaks down. At least he did in that Jacksonville playoff game where somehow the Pats won partially due to an officials call. I couldn't believe how well that guy played in that game. I'm hoping he has regressed....

Not that it likely matters much for this season (and definitely not this game), but it's disappointing that Ray is having trouble staying on the field already. I kept reading that this was pretty much the only reason he didn't get drafted higher, and didn't have the college career that was expected of a 5 star recruit like him. Just too many injuries, too many times. Way early still, but that trend appears to be holding so far in the pros. Hopefully he gets back soon and this was all just a blip.
what is the injury? I don't remember reading about one. I believe McGrone was looked at in a similar fashion.

Not sure Flores blitzes much since it didn't work out that well in last year's Wk 1 game. He'll probably rush 4 & force Mac to throw outside the numbers. Mac will need to make throws into tight windows.

We're going to have to keep close attention on him:

yes this is spot on ...Heyward will be a major problem for our O line. What I find puzzling is the rather laissez faire attitude towards other Steeler D problems like Ogun and especially Minkah Fitzpatrick. If any of you watched last week's Steelers/Cincy tilt, Fitzpatrick was a monster. How in blazes is this Pats O line going to handle THESE players if they got shut down by a far inferior Miami D?

Isn't Flores a linebacker coach? He's not the DC there so even though they would be smart to pick his brain, he's not really deciding anything is he?

Only if you assume Trippin Mike IS deciding anything. I am of the opinion that Flores' input will be a MASSIVE factor in this game
