This Patriots team can not afford BB holding grudges against one of their quality players for petty infractions. They do not have the talent to do this and get away with it. Bourne came here as a free agent and seems to be a decent guy last year and in early preseason.

Why are you assuming it's BB and not Patricia?

McDaniels was also famous for having bolden in short yardge situations and getting stuffed. And i like McDaniels. so this isnt an OC thing. Its some weird pats thing.
New team, same thing. Bolden had a 1 yard run on 3rd and 2 yesterday.

Turnovers don't always have to do with being better prepared. For example, the bad throw that Tua made that should have been intercepted by McCourty, was broken up by Myles Bryant. Is that being better prepared? No.

How about the int that Mac threw in the endzone where Parker was interfered with and there was no call. Was that being better prepared, I don't think so.
Well then, we just disagree on this. To me, losing the TO battle is usually because of preparedness:

1. EZ INT: 50/50 ball between their best CB & our best 80/20 WR. If you look at the image above, Parker had his arm fully extended against Howards shoulder. IOW they were both battling for position & Howard won. That's obviously the way ref saw it.
2. STRIP SACK: planned blitz by MIA perfectly executed. If anything, poor execution by our OL/TE.
3. Agholor fumble: strong hit by Kohou to force the fumble.

BTW MIA had 6 PD. The Pats secondary had ZERO. We're just lucky Tua wasn't more accurate (Mac & him both at 70%).

Fair enough. let' s both agree and hope that we have a better week against Pitt and don't turn the ball over!! lol

1-1 is a lot better than 0-2.

The more I think about Bourne only in for 2 plays the more pissed off I get. He is arguably the most dynamic playmaker on offense and a leader on the field that fires the guys up with his emotion. Not having him in there was a colossal mistake by one or more of the coaches. Whatever their reason was for not playing him...they need to get over it and move forward NOW.

Attempting only 2 PA passes isn't on the OC?
Benching (2 snaps) one of your more productive WRs isn't on the OC?
Just those two decisions could've had an influence on the anemic O performance.
i specifically talking about the short yardage play. i know a lot of people piled on Patricia for it yesterday but we have done this crap before.

Oh. Ok.

This is something this board better get used to. JC had 23 last year which was 35% of the secondary's pass breakups. The next leader was 10 and that was Devin McCourty. The next highest CB had 7 which was Mills.

Back spasms for Mac... that's what Gronk was dealing with for a while right?
