This ball from Brady went the same distance in the air as Mac's throw to Bourne (61 yds for Brady, 60 for Mac), in the same amount of time (2.5 seconds) and at the same rate of speed (49.1 mph for Mac, 49.3 mph for Brady).

Heck, Brady's ball goes out of the screen just like Mac's did (something that happens a lot on balls that go 60 yards through the air).

The play he got hurt, or at least the play I think he got hurt (the corner blitz fumble for a TD), was one where Mac should have diagnosed the free runner and shifted the protection. Go look at Bedard’s Twitter of Mac walking out of the X-Ray room. That’s a guy who is in a ton of pain.

I was thinking the roughing play. If he hadn't spun I think he ends up with a blown out knee, minimum. He got Hi-Lowed and was lucky to get up, imo.

That ball to Bourne was a dime. I felt like it should have come down 5-10 yds earlier and Bourne just kept running after it.

That one stands out as an excellent throw in a very inconsistent day for Mac.
