This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.
At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.
Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.
This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.
If you do you will have your account suspended.
I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.
Should also say that yes Mac was inaccurate on short throws, but on the initial INT he hung it up too much. He also needed to pick up the blitz on the strip sack. He'll improve, he'll get that. It was 14 points though on those 2 plays.
My Alamo prediction was 28-20...Phish over Pats. I severely overrated BOTH teams offensive abilities. The only comfort I got out of this afternoon is the Jete were obliterated.
Tua is most likely the worst QB the Pats will face this season...unless you factor in Mommy's Boy Zach.
Rhamondre had 8 carries for 25 yards...one carry was 12 yards. That leaves 7 carries for 13 yards total.Does Rham suddenly suck? or is the O line a putrid mess...? I despised the Strange pick from the beginning. I was forced off this board for months because I disagreed with the "Pats Heroes" brigade.Strange is a below average guard at this point. We now have an injured QB who looks like he will have trouble with his plant foot/leg...and the Pats are going to play a soft sieve at LG? How long before we see the worst backup QB in the NFL?
This month is going to resemble the Chosin Death march
I hated the strange pick, it made no sense, the whole trading of a pro bowl guard in mason to turn around and take an obscure guard as his replacement was absurd when the team needed a LBr, cb, or d-lineman after they couldn't stop anybody at the end of last season. Its the kind of move detroit, the browns of old, or even dare i say the jete would make. Today was the first time ive spent any time on here since the draft.
I don't blame Agholor for that. Getting hit in the head will do that. I wasn't surprised that it wasn't called though. This seemed like preseason for the refs too.

Not sure if it is all the play calling, but we seem to have a propensity for going deep on 3rd and short (the Parker INT in the first quarter and again where we got a flag in the 3rd).
I can't recall what year it was implemented but this isn't breaking news.
Any play in which the ball is turned over is automatically reviewed by the league and is flagged for review if they see any reason to review the play. Plays that involve a turnover, because they are automatically reviewed, cannot be challenged by the head coach.

Had the really nice deep throw to Bourne. Had some nice passes in traffic to Meyers. But agreed there were too many that floated, too. He physically is capable of better, but needs to do a better job staying mechanically sharp. A bonafide QB coach would be a good idea.
