The mistake was not a draft Lloyd. I was giving them the benefit of the doubt but now, in retrospect? Not drafting LB Lloyd is looking like an even worse decision. We need some talent there.

Agree - since he’s injured, they need to IR him or release with an injury settlement. Given that he didn’t practice yesterday I have to assume he still injured.

There are 4 players injured currently: Cajuste, Wilkerson, Thornton, and Montgomery. The Pats have to keep them until tomorrow before they can IR them, otherwise lost for the season.. And I don't think anyone wants that.

You don't think that Wilson, McMillian, Bentley, Peppers and and Dugger is enough depth when the Pats run the Nickle package as their base?

Depending on the injury length, they could just elect to keep any/all of them on the 53 and make them inactive, since there have to be inactives on game day anyway. I would expect Thornton at the very least to go on short term IR, but not sure about the others.

Are you saying that we couldn't keep him on the 53, and IR him on Thursday?
No, I’m working off the assumption that he didn’t make the team, and that BB doesn’t think he’s worth using one of their 8 IR return spots on. Those assumptions are just that, of course.

Based on reporters? Doesn't he work for the Pats? Couldn't he just go to the bubbler and overhear stuff?

Sounds like there isn't a Pats intranet cuts tracker page
Watch it now - the Pats had to convince Goodell that their media staff has no interaction with the football guys. We don’t want Goodell to upgrade that Spygate 2 penalty!
