I wonder what will we do with Kristian Wilkerson?
I think him and Tavai are prime PS candidates, I feel. Getting rid of them early, during the hurricane of news and releases, has been the way for these vets to go under the radar

Makes no sense I thought he had a great camp.
Hes isn't being kept over Mills, JJ, Marcus & Jack Jones.

Wade or Bryant maybe but age and experience in the system wins out.

Still don't know why draft 2 running back in this draft... Oh well

Depending on what happens with Montgomery, we've potentially lost 2 RB's already this camp (White, Montgomery). I think it was worth some depth/competition there.

Yeahhh... Like, it was a 5th or 6th rounder, so you know, can't complain... But nowadays, RBs are so dime a dozen

I don't know if Harris will go through waivers. Aside from the fumble, he had a strong preseason. Wouldn't be shocked to see Josh do something a little crazy and claim him, but I worry about him being brought back in and feel like if Damien Harris hits free agency after the season, it would be nice to have him still on the roster.

I think he is safe. Kevin Harris’ are a dime a dozen as a rookie. Some progress most end up being a guy who has a decent preseason and never made it.

I think running backs are kind of hard to judge and they often draft a couple at a time hoping one or both will POP. I think there will be a good chance Harris ends up on the PS, but we shall see.

RB was a roster need and D Harris contract is up this year, so one on the roster one on the PS.
in the 6th round a good ps player is a success.

I feel the pain you have suffered being a fan of this team. Hopefully you will get your wish and they change the philosophy that has produced a team that has made us so miserable as fans all these years.
Let’s be more like the Lions!!
Well, they did bring in the Lions's former head coach

Highly doubt it . Why would you give a spot on 53 for a 6tg round rookie when you can have a veteran like Sony Michel for veteran minimum. Not that Kevin Harris has so much upside which is visible now.

I don't disagree, but would add that at position - once a mainstay of early picks across the league - can now be recouped pretty easily at similar skill at dirt cheap cap space every couple years - meaning never having to shell out significant cap space cash once the rookie contract runs out. So every 2-3 years viola - a couple new late round RBs to refill the depth gauge.

I agree, just wanted a rookie LB this year, I guess
