Are you not following this case?

He admitted to giving her chlamydia.

No he didn’t.

He told her on a phone call weeks later that she should get tested for chlymidia because he recently tested positive. There is zero proof that he knew he had chylmdiia beforehand.

I think it’s you that don’t know the case.

As for his age, he was a college senior, more than 5 years older than a minor.

And he wasn’t 22.

You'll defend anything. I'm on this board on record wanting Antonio Brown cut for what he pulled with threatening texts. Here you are defending a guy who admits he sleeps with a minor 5 years younger.

Football has twisted your mind

He just got cut
I'm kindof a little disappointed. I wanted to see them play out this game of chicken past 8/30. They don't have Dee'z Nuts over in CLE.

Doesn't matter. It's why it's called jailbait.

No I was trying to say how would anyone know a girl at a college party is underage you’d never ask. That’s untill I read she told him she was in high school his next question should be about her age but dudes a scumbag

"Cut instantly"...? Really...? You wouldn't want due process to play out?

Call me crazy, but I'd like to see some evidence before I support ruining a guy's life (and a court filing by plaintiff's counsel does not even remotely qualify as evidence). I really think the guy did it, but at this point, I cannot say that I know he did it. Can you?
He admitted to having sex with her on a taped call.

He gone

So are the allegations against Watson and the allegations against the punter the same? Because I keep seeing them both get called rapists.

First of all, we do not have a recording or transcript of that call. All we have is 4th hand knowledge via the LA Times and a civil court filing.

Second of all, on that same phone call he says he doesn't remember anything from that night. In fact, according to the LA Times, when she asked him point blank if they had sex, he responded he didn't remember anything that happened that night and immediately hung up. And the lawsuit filed 2 days ago, which provides multiple quotes from Araiza, does not provide a specific quote where he admits they had sex.

Based on what has been reported, I think he did it. I think he is guilty and I hope justice is served. I want him (and his cohorts) to do some real time. I just hope they have more evidence against him than just that phone call since I am not sure the phone call itself - what little of it we know - constitutes proof beyond a reasonable doubt.

The Bills were smart to cut him, but they don't exactly come out smelling like roses. I can buy that they didn't know these accusations when they drafted him, but they sure knew for almost an entire month now.

It is a shame they had to be shamed into cutting him instead of doing the right thing on their own before the sh*t hit the media fan.

These sex cases are always the trickiest. For the record I do think he did it and he's a POS, but would love to see undeniable proof. I'd feel terrible if he was falsely accused.

I agree. I think he did it but I will never apologize for wanting due process to play itself out. Every once in a while someone who everyone knows is guilty turns out to be innocent.

They cut the other punter in the competition after being aware of the accusations. Epic failure on Buffalos part.
