I was just going to post the story but too slow....never be late for a BB meeting then !

apparently there was a guy inside the car that he hit…

I get it that it can be stressful to not mess up/be late at our jobs, but I'm not a huge fan of what he did.
I'm with you. I was thinking he hit parked car or a mailbox or something..wait do those still exist? Anyway...the thought process in theory is humerus to me. But not so much in reality.

This would be good source material for a Law & Order episode back in the day.

Same. I hoping he just ran into something other than a car/person to say it was an "accident". But hitting another car even slightly could cause something bad.

Brandon Spikes also left the scene of an accident....and he was never suspended or anything for it....IIRC.

Rich Ohrnberger who??

Seems like a similar line of reasoning to calling in a bomb threat to avoid going to work, except the mere threat of a bomb is less physically dangerous than hitting a car with a guy in it.

Thing I remember most about Ohrnberger is that during and a bit after his playing days he was perhaps the most crudely hilarious person on Twitter. Totally cleaned up his act to become a media guy.

Don't like that our players are that afraid of getting cut for being late once.
