PFT: Belichick sees Dramatic Improvement in Mac

If the Patriots and Bills swapped quarterbacks then New England would win the division.

BTW you never answered my question: Are you old enough to remember Scott Norwood or is last year your most painful memory as a sports fan?

And anyone that said he improved every year of his career is an idiot. Glad you agree.
Kirk Cousins stats barely moved when Diggs left... but Diggs is a magical unicorn that fixes bad QB's... laughable.
OMFG you cannot possibly be this stupid.

Apparently you have never heard of Justin Jefferson, who is an upgrade over Diggs. By an amazing coincidence, Cousins' number improved.

It is clear you do not even follow the sport of football. This will be my last post in our sidebar since you are clearly just phenomenally ignorant of what is going on around the rest of the League.

Edelman plus Gronk. At Tampa, he inherited the best pair of receivers he had ever worked with, then recruited Gronk, AB, and Fournette (the first good all down back he had played with). And Tampa had an excellent defense. No wonder they won it all despite Coach Riscuit Biscuit.
Dillon, A. Smith and Ridley had better years than Fatty Fournette did last year.

While I like hearing this. It kind of makes me nervous. When BB praises an active player so unbashed, that is rarely a good sign.

It's when he says 'he did some good things, some things could have been better, we'll look at the film' that you know the guy played great.

Frankly, either way this talk means nothing. At this point as a football fan I am past caring about any training camp talk. I've sat through too many training camp heroes that amounted to nothing or were cut to buy in one way or another. (though overall I will admit they tend to be a positive sign compared to hearing nothing at all, but it isn't like it makes it even likely it will pan out half as well as the early reports say)/

So I'll at least wait till i see him in his first or second pre season game before getting my hopes up.

My gut tells me he learned something from his time with Tom.

In addition I think he is genuine with what hes seen from Mac in terms of he has done everything BB expected him to do and a lot more.

Also might be BB has evolved a little.

My belief is Mac IS setting the standard for work ethic on the team and BB is recognizing that with positive reinforcement which permeates throughout the locker room. If he talks that way about Mac, that'll motivate Mac and the other players on the team to follow his example.

It might also be the way the kid is wired. Tom fed off the "doubters" and would walk through a wall for praise and BB knew it. It was all mind games with Tom. Maybe Mac works harder when hes praised? Maybe he needs that positive feedback? Not sure. Just a guess.

Plus I'm sure BB has talked to Saban about how to deal with Mac to get the best out of him plenty of times...

I agree. Brady is a masochist. I thoroughly believe he enjoyed being in the hole and climbing out. That makes a for someone who loves a comeback haha.

McCourty has spoken at length about Belichick evolving. Belichick is a master motivator.

Did his arm get stronger?

I kid, I kid!

Some people want to climb the mountain and never get there.

Some people want to climb the mountain, make it, and do it again.

Some people want to climb the mountain, make it and enjoy the view.

Tom is #2.

We'll see what Mac is soon enough

and to add to #3 - Some people want to climb the mountain, make it, enjoy the view, and forget how much hard work is required to climb it again

Here’s what I wrote about Jackson before the draft when jokers like you were clamoring for the Pats to draft him:

"I think he could "appear" really good, he could look like young Michael Vick... and just like Vick he will be fool's gold.
He will win some regular season games but unless he has the perfect situation around him won't sniff the Super Bowl.
Vick has a career 56% completion rate, his career win/loss record is 61-51, he averaged over 2.5 INT's per game... people think he was good because he was good on Tecmo Bowl or Nintendo, in the real world he appeared in 5 playoff games over 13 seasons.
You have to be able to pass accurately to beat NFL caliber playoff defenses... passing is important."

It’s too late, I’ve already proven to be spot on about who Lamar Jackson is. Dead on correct…
C'mon man this is the opposite of "dead on correct" Posting this thinking its a W is crazy talk.

I still can’t figure out the consensus on him. Half of fans says he’s solid, half say he sucks.
